It makes sense. He couldn´t make a splash and probably knew that he wouldn´t. A little sad he never managed, as he was great in BW.

I always kinda hoped ZerO would do well in SC2. There are so many queens in this game! I guess it was just not meant to be
He will be missed!

Hi Nazgul. I find your reply very valid, although my comment might've been misinterpreted. I didn't mean that Zeros retirement in particular would kill the scene, I just meant that it probably would just hurt the franchise if everyone in general ditched the game blizzard/kespa chose, and went to half/spare time bw
Of course, I also wish Zero well, and hope that he will find satisfaction with whatever he will now do

I...I...am sad. So much potential he had.
GL to him.

My favourite BW Korean zerg. I hope he succeeds in whatever he decides to do next.

Oh my, favorite BW player retiring before he gets aired in the GSL.. 3 chances there were, no more will follow
Hope he picks up something new that i like i guess..

I feel bad for Soulkey, from what I gather they were almost like brothers. Also feel bad for Killer, there's going to a new #1 zerg in the BW scene.

What does that tell you about the game?
Fake it till you make it is the philosophy behind SC2 esports. It worked well at the start, but now people are seeing the game for what it really is.

A great game that every BW pro might not want to play. Theses player are not required to love SC2 and it is common for some to switch jobs after a salary cut.

Well If it wasn't a great game - ppl wouldn't have played it, but there are 2 problems that are big enough for ppl to reconsider and think otherwise I think..
Those are the following: 1 - TvP mech play (lack of it ofc.) 2 - PvZ stalemate late-game
ofc. there might have been others - in ZvT for example, but think that those are adressed already, but the 2 I noted about still remain.. And the question is - how long till those 2 are finally resembled..
Not saying that players are retiring for that, but it's at least one of the reasons they don't keep fighting hard for it I think..

Dammit, who will troll Soulkey. Granted you cannot infest command centers in SC2, so his retirement makes sense.
|
Ah...sad,sad news :/ I was hoping he would find a new team
|
=( I remember when I saw that Woongjin video where he trolled Soulkey hard... Those were the good times.
