But I agree. Savior is pretty perfect when he's on point. I think Bisu's 3-0 really tore through his psyche.
bisu made savior beatable to all of the pro's now.

that is what is sad =(
with savior, more than any other great player whose dominance isn't as great as it once was, it seems that he simply just stopped playing great rather than the field catching up to him

hawsin will climb up in ranks, thats for sure..

Strange enough, he was once "The Dictator". Somehow he plays in the same league with others now.

The field did catch up with him. Last year, his 3 hatch was invincible. The best terran players could not prevent Savior from getting 3-4 gases.
Nowadays, Light, Hwasin, and FBH and probably many more are able to shut down his expansions and overpower him.
They all go fast CC while careful defending their ramp/choke and move out with a big army while Savior's economy and army are still weak. This is why Savior doesn't do his usual 3 hatch strategy as much and has to use zerglings to wither down the marine count to get an edge and delay the Terrans. If the zerglings fail to gain him an advantage, Savior can be taken down.
Savior has used his 3-hatch zvt and muta zvp since the beginning. He kept on using them until they didn't work anymore. Nowadays, these strategies aren't as effective and he has to change.

He should just do the obvious and do some 4 hatch now. DUH!?!?! Come on, 4>3. wtf, it's so ez.

I mean, the signs were already there. Iris almost took Savior down too in Shinhan 3, don't forget. Sooner or later every great player loses their dominance when everyone else adapts.

Hwasin never has.
Talk about jerking off to past results. When exactly was the last time Savior proved himself to be a champion?

firebathero need to drop out of the PR
Nal_ra is very promising to make an appearance on the PR, he won 2 BO3 against iris who is TOP 2
hwasin lost a game vs an amateur....he could have lost the 3rd game also.... he definitly has to drop some places
the next set of game in the WCG qualification will answer the following questions :
- Can oov make it past the round 16 (if yes i want definitly in the close cigar section) - Can savior make it past the round 16 (if yes switch savior and hwasin ) - if nada win over sea at least i think he will qualify to wcg so he definitly have to make an appearance on the PR if sea wins nothing happen... - if hwasin wins over nal_ra (a nobody on the power rank) nothing happen - if july take out jaedong he deserves a slot on the PR (1st bisu then jaedong.....) - if jaedong wins,... nothing happen
I think you forget that all of these games you cited are in tourneys that don't matter. The weight goes OSL > MSL > Proleague > all other tourneys.
In this situation no one has anything else to practice for. Everyone still left in WCG is focused 100% on this tournament because it's the only thing they're playing right now.

I'm not denying Hwasin's good play, he is a bit boring to me though. If you want to argue though Savior did just win Blizzcon. CHAMPION

to use your argument, boxer and junwi has had about the same record lately (terrible that is). but boxer should be ranked above junwi because he has 'proved he is a champion many times' whereas junwi hasn't? that's ridiculous, junwi didn't give a shit when he went and beat him in msl survivor

Yeah, awesome job Junwi!

Don't know if anyone saw it but Light lost to a random bnet player (TvZ)on MBC Games's bnet attack show! Pretty embarassing for him.

Hwasin did just win WCG Korea though so it doesn't really matter now.
Is there going to be a new Power Rank near the beginning of September? We did have games the first 3 weeks of August at least.

I was going to throw up a new list, but I'm not sure anymore; it would just be 10 paragraphs in a row about how I don't care about invitationals and barely care about WCG. I was only going to make a couple changes, anyway, in light of the WCG results (Sea #8, Flash #9, Free #10).

Move down Iris 7? Why not. All he did was lose TvP's. Move up Jaedong. SC256 winz. Move up Hwasin. I think he is clear #3.
Yeah, that's about it. I guess bottom 2 slots are feel goods for good users. Boxer and Ra. Sure why not?

Me too... me too.
And yeah WCG is a nothing tourney, but.. hard to argue against Hwasin's tear. There hasn't been enough games to really compare him to Iris or GGPlay terribly well though. Heck, even Stork. But I think he's at least shown he's not exactly a one or two match wonder anymore (not that he wasn't doing that before).
