Probably 6. Jaedong 7. Savior 8. Flash 9. Sea 10. Oov Edit: Although I hate putting Jaedong ahead of Savior given that Jaedong hasn't played any group stage games yet, but Savior has looked pretty lost in Proleague. Also hesitant to notch Sea up until he's played through his group stage.

I don't know if Flash is going to stay in PR really, hasn't he had a pretty dismal month? For some reason I remember him losing more than winning, although it was a pretty slow month either way. First Proleague game of Bisu's we'll see, not to mention a week or two of OSL, which should be revealing. Glad MBC coach broke out the winning Bisu/Sea/Light/thezerg combination finally, but for wemade? where was that lineup when they were up against CJ or Khan?!

1. Hwasin 2. Bisu 3. Stork 4. sAviOr 5. Iris 6. GGPlay 7. Jaedong 8. Light 9. Sea 10. July You could maybe switch Savior and Iris. What I'm wondering is why Iris wasn't even in the MBC Survivor for the MSL? What's the deal there? He doesn't have many recent results so I want to know how much in form he still is really. Now I'm pretty sure Etter will put Bisu first but I'm gonna go ahead and put Hwasin #1 there anyway. He has gotten better results than Bisu lately and won WCG Korea. The only reason you could argue Bisu is still first is because his skill still surpasses Hwasin. That would be hard to argue either way but I have feeling that's what Etter will do. But anyway that's my list.

I wouldn't be terribly surprised if he waits until Iris/Jaedong play a OSL/MSL game, but I'm not going to be happy if he does.

There hasn't been enough time for Hwasin to surpass what Bisu/Stork have done, and since he lost to Light I'd probably rate him below Iris now. I wouldn't be terribly surprised if he waits until Iris/Jaedong play a OSL/MSL game, but I'm not going to be happy if he does. You would rank Hwasin below Iris now because he lost one game to Light? That's pretty retarded. Here's a hint to the people that think Bisu is far and away #1 still: take a look at his recent games compared to Hwasin's recent games, hell take a look his recent games compared to anyone else's recent games on my top 10 list. Does Bisu still look so hot? WCG might not mean much in the way of tournaments compared to the OSL and MSL but is anyone going to argue that these players somehow don't try to bring their best game to WCG Korea? Just because the WCG isn't as prestigious doesn't mean the players who did well in it were not still beating the highest level competition. I really don't see how you can just dismiss WCG like that, it's kind of dumb. It's different than just some random special event, I'm pretty sure the pros all try in this one.

I don't disagree with you, I think Hwasin is playing amazing right now even with his loss to Light. With this in mind its still hard to remove Bisu from number one no matter how you rank your system. Even though Bisu's most recent games are a little subpar I wouldn't really say that he has done anything to lose his #1 spot. The guy comes up big when he needs to. Yes I suppose his loss to Light in WCG is a little frustrating but ever since he's taken over savior from #1 he's continued to prove he is dominant. Also with Hwasin, even though he won the WCG qualifying tournament, he still hasn't clinched his first big tournament win (I realize winning WCG Korea is questionable to disprove what I just said, but I'm going to stick by original thought). As you've already said, WCG shouldn't be dismissed but I don't think its as nerve racking as competing for the finals of a Starleague. I think if Hwasin can come out with the WCG win it will be huge, and it will continue to show us how powerfully he can play. To really throw him in the number one spot though I would feel it more justified if he could dethrone Bisu. When Bisu was challenging for the #1 spot and people were waffling between him and Savior, Bisu continually showed that he should be #1. Hopefully in a future power rank Hwasin can do the same.

Pretty much... given that the only other games have been Proleague (where they've both looked fine), and Iris hasn't lost (played) his OSL games yet. I'd consider Iris/Hwasin pretty even at this point (although Hwasin is in both OSL/MSL, Iris is only in OSL), so results are paramount. Haven't had a chance to watch the game quite yet, but I suspect Hwasin's gameplay wasn't top notch. I suppose one could be more conservative and wait until Hwasin was eliminated until notching him below Iris, but... the chances of him getting eliminated from OSL are reasonably high, so I'd tend toward ranking him lower. If the ranking is in error and he goes on to get to the Ro8, well... it'll be quite obvious if that is the case. I'd say rankings early in the season are subject to change fairly quickly based on the latest results. ~_~

1. Bisu Made it past his MSL group 2-1. Won his first game in his OSL group over GGplay. 2. Iris[gm] Seeded for OSL, Not qualified for MSL. (So basically, he didn't do anything important, at all) 3. GGPlay Lost his first game in his OSL group to Bisu, Not qualified for MSL. 4. Stork[gm] Made it past his MSL Group 2-1. Won his first game in his OSL group over NaDa. 5. Hwasin Made it past his MSL Group 2-0. Lost his first game in his OSL group to Light. 6. sAviOr Made it past his MSL Group 2-0. Won his first game in his OSL group over Frozean. 7. Jaedong Qualified for the OSL, Not qualified for MSL. 8. By.Flash Eliminated from his MSL Group 1-2, Qualified for OSL. 9. Sea[Shield] Qualified for MSL, Qualified for OSL. 10. Firebathero Eliminated from his MSL Group 1-2, Not qualified for OSL. I'm not including Proleague results since its rather difficult to keep track of all the games played, and because it's not as 'important' in terms of their power ranking. From the looks of this, FBH is definitely getting booted off the ranking. Flash will probably be dropped down to 9-10 or be gone entirely. GGPlay will also probably be moved out of the Top 5. Iris's position is hard to judge because he has not done anything of note in September, although it's impossible to deny that he is very scary right now.

1. Bisu 2. Stork 3. Iris (kinda hard to judge since he hasn't played yet) 4. Savior 5. Hwasin 6. Sea[shield], his proleague games were mega impressive, and that's an understatement. Coolest TvZ style I've ever seen. 7. ggplay, he got mega-owned by bisu, I expected him to put up more of a fight really 8. Oov, he's kicking a LOT of ass again. Wooped bisu's ass easily and owned nada with a brilliant strategy. 9. July 10. Flash, got creamed in msl, only win was a bbs rush vs nada iirc At least he still has his osl. I probably put sea too high but I'm a real terran fanboy. :[
