Phage lol Should i have laughed at him for suggesting that Phage has poor completed item efficiency when he suggested that the opposing ADC was going to come back with a whole list of things that have similar or worse item/gold efficiency? And the reason this was going to happen was because Phage doesn't have anything to build into? "more effective items for the lane:" Doran's Blade + Boots + Longsword = 1125 Vampiric Scepter + Boots = 1125 Ruby Crystal + Longsword + Doran's Blade = 1275 Berserker's Greaves + Longsword = 1260 Phage = 1325 gold 20 AD, 200 HP, Bonus Passive: Builds into Triforce Ruby + Long sword + Dorans = +260 HP, 18 AD : 3 HP/Attack. Builds into nothing except Phage They're different by 60 HP and the passive (plus slightly more damage on Phage) and a whole 50 gold. Note that the passive on Phage should be worth at least 130 gold since its pretty easy to keep +10 move speed bonus up and the +30 move speed bonus on a minion kill is really strong. Phage is really strong early, especially if you're ahead because of the chase it enables.

People have been telling me to replace armor seals with health and lifesteal with attack speed. What do you guys like to do? On lucian i would probably run flat(or scaling) MP/5 yellows while keeping attack damage quints (and then penetration or AD reds depending on how well I was able to last hit) or keep the armor yellows. Scaling Health is OK in yellows but doesn't have any early oomph and because so much of the lane is determined by harass and the level 2 fight i don't see them working out better than even flat armor yellows. Scaling armor is another option. It suffers the same problems as scaling health early but it still pretty decent. Additionally because champions like Lucian tend to have a lot of lifesteal (or get BV as their core defensive item) the extra armor is stronger assuming you can survive the initial burst. I probably wouldn't go for attack speed on an AD in any situation. The few AD's which rely heavily on attack speed (Vayne, Ashe, Trist, to a lesser extent Cait) will tend to buy attack speed and also have very good AS/Level. While the 13.5% for 3 quints is very good in terms of gold efficiency (at the price of a dagger/long sword AD is worth 230 gold while AS is worth 450) attack speed isn't particularly valuable in lane just due to how trading, last hitting, and ability damage works

It's been tough trying to find out what runes I should now run with the changes. I guess I'll have to grind out a few games and get the IP I need to buy em runes.

I can farm well, it's not the issue, but how can you take the advantage, how to dominate the lane/be agressive as Lucian ? the cs plays a big part about lucian, thats the only way to poke safely. If the opp left 60% u can just all in, heres the sequence i used all time Q auto E auto W auto Q auto, proc every single passive on his face.

Yeah but for this I need my opponent to be at 60% :p I'm mainly having issues at poking, I get zoned too easily by their support.

Strong laning phase, snowballs like crazy... always giving me a headache in soloQ.... especially when I prefer to play Ashe.

If you can do a small recording I can give you some pointers if you want but hard to tell you what you are doing wrong in general without seeing it or just add me in league:lainovoz.

And personally on my ADCs I've been running 2 armor quints and armor seals. It makes laning a hell of a lot easier and people often overestimate their damage because you have like 17-18 armor instead of 9.

Target a creep with Q and land it on the other guy and remember that your goal is to CS better than the other guy and not to kill them. The entire goal of harass is to interfere with their CSing. Some people like to play low-econ and choose to harass over cs and some people will always take the cs. The better you get at CSing the better you will understand when they make a mistake and how to punish it. Also don't underestimate how much damage creep aggro does to you, especially at early levels.
