I still love to watch those runs even if I watch them all the time anyway on twitch (OoT, WW, MM, SM64 etc). For some reason im really not excited about the schedule this year. Very few games actually interest me there.

There are no games that interest me at this SGDQ, literally 0, i still watch because the event itself is awesome.

Even if these games are done to the death, they still need to have some high profile speed runners running them... they need to keep in mind this whole thing is for a charity and I don't think they'll come close to last year's donation goal at this rate

They have been done at SGDQ in the past a lot not to mention every god damn online marathon there ever is I'm just glad some other games got the spot light even if they don't bring in the hype. This is as much as show casing the community and the games as it is bringing in money (although bringing in money should be the primary goal I admit)

I wouldn't worry too much about this SGDQ raising more than last year's. Not even 24 hours in and they're already up to 65k USD on the donation tracker. Such a cool game, but I've never seen a speedrun of it before, Definitely one I'm looking forward to as well.

Probably won't reach the million but that's normal, SGDQ is smaller than AGDQ normally
