Computer Symptoms Bad capacitors on a motherboard can severely affect a computer's performance. The computer may not turn on. If it does, it may stop at some point in the startup process. It might shut down or "freeze" unexpectedly. The behavior may be erratic, working some times and shutting down at others. Just run SleepMonitors.exe and click the button / press enter. + Show Spoiler + public partial class MainWindow : Window Wow, thank you! Unfortunately, I have the same problem that I've had before where the monitors (5 of them; windows 64-bit as well) turn on right after they turn off. I didnt move the mouse or anything afaict. It's also random too -- sometimes the monitors stay off for over 5min, and sometimes they turn on sooner than that. I can't really find a pattern. The longest they have stayed off was like 30 min before they just turned on. =/ Edit: I'm starting to think they're haunted.

You're right. *reformats* Uh, I unplugged any extra peripherals (like 3 controllers and a bluetooth mouse). I'm going to systematically figure out what's doing this now that I have time. Thank you all for the continuous help, though! Edit* I think I did it! I first turned off as many startup progs in msconfig but that didnt seem to do anything. In fact, the monitors were restarting immediately after they were turned off whereas before I did that in MSCONFIG, they were at least staying off for 5min lol. Anyway, so I uninstalled some programs but it still had the issue. So I finally went through and disconnected more stuff and it seems to be working. Ill have to figure out which item was the culprit

My PC ist connected wit dlan and only see 2,9Mbit/s :/ I feel that my smartphone has more speed with WLAN than my PC. Is there a speedtest site for mobile drive? Actual speeds are very rarely near advertised speeds. I'm getting ~28 down, 5-7 up while paying for 80 down, 20 up. I'm not sure of mobile speedtests but generally desktop + LAN cable is quite trustworthy for max speeds

I can't connect my PC with LAN or WLAN (router&modem are in cellar and my room is in 2. floor). My Laptop with WLAN in ground floor sees 3,9Mbit/s. I can watch a twitch stream 1080p flawlessy on my smartphone in 1.floor, but no reception in 2.floor (same for my laptop). My PC dont even on "high" (720p) with DLAN. DLAN sucks :/

When browsing team liquid or at my clan forums (Zetaboard), I sometimes get re-routed to this dumb page which explains Jennifer Anniston's miracle diet. This happened to me on Opera. Now I switched to Vivaldi to try it out and I got it again when visiting TL. I'm a noob at browser security so does anyone have any ideas? Should I go back to Firefox and noscript or what?
