Large chunk of the starcraft community has forgotten about her by now
lol sgtk pls
Okay sorry poorly worded. A large chunk has has moved on and no longer has any interest in her. Forgotten about her in that she's out of thought, out of mind, no longer relevant to starcraft.
Hmmmm... I think it may be true that Scarlett isn't in most SC2 fan's day to day conversations as of late, but the second she returned from DOTA and placed top 5 in an SC2 tournament, this fan club would start blowing up again. I think it's a situation similar to Naniwa or Stephano's; gone but not forgotten.
Also, ~16 hours a day of DOTA time is seriously hardcore; here I am calling it a day after 2 hours of Calc 1...
I also get the feeling that with a game like DOTA that relies so much on teamwork, playing with skilled friends as mentors will get you from A to B much faster than going it alone with randoms. She probably has some cool people helping her out. I can't wait to see what kind of progress she makes; it sounds like she's in the hyperbolic time chamber!

Scarlett was one of the most popular, well-known players in sc2. She had the f'ing New Yorker writing about her...4 months ago! If Scarlett wants to come back in a year, she'll have crowds waiting for her. The fans aren't gonna forget about her, just like no one's forgotten about Nani, or Stephano, or Idra.
You know, a lot of pros have left for LoL, or Dota, or even retired, and many of them came back after not too long. And most of them didn't have a fraction of the fans, the paycheques, or the success Scarlett had. So don't lose hope.
look if she can get good internet and start streaming some more I'd be really happy. Would of course love more SC2 but I've grown to like watching Scarlett no matter what she plays :D

I shouldn't lose hope, but I get more of a "never-coming-back" Idra-like feeling more than a "you'll-be-back" Naniwa feeling.

I think the internet isn't an issue, it's her desire to stream. If she's practicing she's not gonna stream. Joing me in the "No Hope" club!

so you mean a new fc would make little sense and we should continue to support her in the dota career in the same thread? I don't have a problem with that. Unless other TL members would argument that teamliquid should stay starcraft focused. Although I could've sworn I've seen some fanclubs even for LOL players here.

The LoL fan clubs were here before there was a LoL site, and they have since been moved over there. I don't think there are fan clubs in liquiddota though?
well liquidlegends also has a "Players & Teams" forum that actually looks kinda dead. i dont think it would be appropriate to create a scarlett thread on liquiddota until she is more established as a player
I guess if Acer team's management decides that their SC2 roaster should play SC2 tournament they will play Also they won't have 5 member team without Scarlett. So i guess we'll see her playing that tournament, unless MMA will alkilling everyone :D
Sadly that's not really how it works, and I wouldn't be surprised if it was a contract thing. Acer isn't gonna pay her if she isn't competing in anything and she doesn't have a Dota team yet and might not have one for a while (not a thing you can just throw together overnight and expect any results), so she's gotta stay active somehow
This is assuming that it's happening at all, which is not even confirmed at all yet.
i like to think she wanted in on the action and it not being contractual, if i am right i think she enjoyed the acer/axiom team games a while back or maybe it was just the corn she was there for
