And they keep making these huge mouses that are only good for fps. I like my steelseries rival when im playing cs, but i feel its too slow for sc.
I stuck with deathadder now and its huge for rts yea but good enough for dia1
Also yeah G pro is 70 euros, but some people will ask 70 euros for zowie mico which is covering dust on their shelves

Wow that new Logitech looks amazing! Doesn't look like it ships to many countries though, don't feel like paying top dollar for it on amazon considering it would be replacing my $20 G1

You have the M-UAE55 or M-UV55A? Which version is better logitec mini, with the sensor S2599 or S5008?

hi! i had 2 logitech g100s, both dead in 6 month (left button).I had logitech G1, dead in 1 year (left batton). now i play on cheap office a4tech mouse(7 years, falling apart, but works) maybe in the future I want to buy a copy of the mouse g1 or g100s from aliexpress, what u think about quality?

Go for a zowie or razer product. They produce some of the 0 acceleration mice. (that means to unintended movements)

I used to use a mini optical when i ONLY played BW, i later switched to a G1. After i started playing SC2 i had to switch mice, long story short after like 10-15 mice i now use a Zowie FK2, performance-wise it's the best mouse i've ever owned (and comfort-wise.. but that varies with each person). Logic G Pro is another good choice if you're looking for the best small/high performance mouse on the market. I also like the FK2 because it has no drivers, all the settings are on-board. I use 1000 hz for every game and the dpi settings are 400 (i use this for BW), 800 (Overwatch, SC2 and every other game), 1600 and 3200.
In general sensor and comfort are the 2 most important things when youre shopping for a mouse (weight/buttons are secondary). If you plan on playing other games invest in a quality mouse, if youre only gonna play BW then just get something thats comfy and cost efficient.

I bought 2 logitech mini recently, one of them new (M-UV55A) and both have faulty sensors. They both have this problem : http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/general/83100-logitech-mini-optical-problem
I dont know if that happens to a lot of people, but maybe the sensor is old and starts to not work properly after 10 years or so, these mice were made in 2002.

I've used Logitec g100s, good shape but i feel left click is not comfortable and the cable is bad. Now I'm using g302 and it's best mice I've used (my g100s, Razer Abyssus 2014 ...). I set 640 dpi(window 6/11) for playing bw.
I really wanna try Logitec G pro, I think its shape is so good, and solved the problems on G100s. But the price seems too high.

Which sensor is in your logitech mini? I've heard this is a mouse with three different sensors, S2599, S5008 and h2000 (not suitable for games).

The UAE55 has the S5008, the UV55A has a S2599.

For this mouse advise black rag mouse pad (eg STEELSERIES QcK). Sens in windows at 6. Problems in sc bw should not be.

I just started playing on it. First feel is amazing, much better than g100s that I used before.. Movement is as smooth as never before.

I am currently using Logitech G402. I haven't even considered mouse being an issue since playing BW again. I have no problem feeling accurate and my muta control is better than it ever was from my hard practice in SC2. (I played BW for 12 years before SC2 but I never practiced as hard as I did in SC2.. hope it carries over)
I really miss the Logitech MX310. Back in the day a lot of pros used either that or MX300, can't quite remember.
The KTEC mouses were always super highly esteemed as well. Probably not in production anymore, sadly.

for the 5th billions times, logitech classic optical mouse such as RX250.

I bought the Ktec KTM 9500 and from my personal experience, it is the best RTS mouse I've ever played on.

Ktec ktm 9500 was dope, one of the best (if not the best) mouse i ever used(very similar to new logitech g pro) ...

What would be a good current updated new mouse to use for Brood War mainly? I had recently purchased a new Razer DeathAdder 2013 mouse but it jumps across the screen every few minutes or so. What would be the best way to clean the optical lense or to fix the jumpiness? I tried changing it to every different port. I also have a BlackWeb mouse mat, could that be the reason since it's a Razer mouse? I'm thinking of just going with the slightly cheaper Black Web gaming mouse and see if it is any or less jumpy than the DeathAdder. I really like the feel of the DeathAdder with my hand on it but for some reason Synapse makes the pointer jump and I think it may have corrupted my volume to my lab top and the touchscreen capabilities.
