Sorry for the delays for the YouTube VODs for week 1, been busy lately and literally just got hired for a job in SF which I'll be moving from NYC within a month.
I'll upload week 1 YouTube VODs before week 2 cast, meanwhile entire Twitch VODs are at: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/125454510
Week 2 cast will be on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at 3:30 PM EST so I hope to see some expecting matches/results this Sunday!
Week 3 and onward will be at a different time/day due to my job training starting in NY first.

Unfortunately not for week 2 on this short notice. If there is overwhelming demand I'll switch to it week 3.
This is something I thought a lot about and something I talked to with Quickstriker briefly. just to be clear, if I knew Quickstriker was going to 100% Cast this from the start and it was going to garner this much interest player & viewer wise, team melee is not something I would have added in originally. That said, in my opinion team melee and micro/macro are just two completely different modes. Although you can definitely do micro/macro style in team melee, you are not limited to just dedicating two players to those specific roles. Team melee has an insane amount of freedom and depth to it.
I personally would rather replace the team melee with a 2v2 on some old school proleague maps like Chariots of Fire, Vampire, and Iron Curtain. I would rotate them every week just like the 1v1 maps. But yah, if enough people dislike team melee, I don't have any problems switching it to something more preferable. If people disagree with me and really feel like there is not a large difference between micro/macro UMS and team melee, I will switch it for week 3.
Atm though I don't really want to change it without a lot of negative feedback because I feel like it is something that tournaments never include and it is a unique, fun, and underused mode that players don't get to experience or play on enough.

If you're going to keep either TM or micro/macro in general, TM is better than the micro/macro UMS map even if it can be hosted.

I vote to keep TM. It's mad fun. That's the most important thing.

Cool I feel like I did something right for once.

I will try my best to be on time this week for Team AoV, but maybe a bit late. Unfortunately it's out of my control.

Yup, I will definitely be late this evening, but I will be there! Hopefully 45 minutes only. Poetic also will be equally late- we're stuck on the same delayed train.

MR vs SMC (week 2) postponed 1v1-A and 3v3 to be played before next week matches.

gg Zerochrome. I'm not sure how active you are, but we should play more often!

week 3 map pool updated. will post the new match-ups tonight or tomorrow morning

I love you for including Azalea. One of my favorite old school maps.
Can I put Memory Cell up for consideration?

I'm not loving Azalea in the map pool. I would really recommend not using any map made prior to 2009-2010ish.

I think having a few fun maps doesn't take anything away from this for-fun league. There are plenty of old-school maps that are pretty fantastic and have a good amount of history. It will be interesting to see how modern strategies fare on these maps.
Along this line of conversation, beyond Memory Cell, I'd also like to suggest: The Artist (really fun for 2v2, maybe not so much 1v1 T_T ) Arcadia 2
and my favorite map of all time...

Yeah, I love the quirky nature of this tour, which involves including the few not-so-played, but awesome maps, like Azalea.
Next week, Blood Bath please!

washed up grampy tt1 :x
