Where can I find beginner build orders for Protoss?
I have been watching GSL and can see that adept/pheonix is a popular build order (along with Skytoss) but it can be hard to follow when and what actions are being taken when the game is moving so fast. I'm also not confident I will survive into the late game if I tried going for Skytoss

Hi! Platinum toss here working on getting better mechanics. I was wondering what is the best way to make fast warp ins during battles. I don't struggle much with robo and stargate production while in battle, but it seems I always either miss warp-ins or get my army destroyed while I'm doing that.
My warp gates are hotkeyed on 5, should I double tap 5, make a warp in close to whatever gate it gets the camera on, or choose a specific location to hotkey, press that hotkey, then 5, then warp in?
And also, should I pull my army back during that time?

This video explains the fastest method of warping units. Follow the guide.

Nope. You should know exactly where do you want your units to be warped in. This is crucial in most situations. Your actions should be the following. Press 5 (or w/e key, i use a "select all wgates" key), then move your camera (manually or using camera location hotkey) to a location where you want to warp. Make sure it's a "proper" pylon (next to nexus/wgate)/ Warp in as explained in Jakataks video. Profit.

It's better not to leave your main army in "danger" while you warp units in, but pulling army backmay lead to losing crusial position so i guess it's a bad idea.
Allinall you will learn to warpin so fast you wont even bother about that issue.
edit: Using camera location hotkeys will help you a lot. Incorporate them in you play (if you dont). Main, Nat, 3rd, 4th, main/nat ramp are most common locations.

The warp in process itself should not be a reason to pull back your army, just becuz you look away. Of course, if your fighting forces are likely to lose, then you pull back and gather them together with your warp ins.
In terms of warp in location, the question is where do you need your units? When you are pushing you should have a prism very close to your army ideally. For defense you use whatever pylon is positionally optimal. You can use a camera hotkey to build up your main army at your base. However in a macro game you will have to warp in at so many different location.

I wouldn't worry too much about camera hotkeys. I would just focus on hitting your build perfectly and keeping your EPM high. There are pro players right now who don't even use camera hotkeys.

Mhm.... there are always exeptions, for sure. But there is no drawback to using camera hotkeys. Quick access to your natural or 3rd (for instance) just saves your epm.

No doubt. But there are priorities. Using camera hotkeys without executing a build order properly is not clever. You'll end up making it worse. Step by step.
hey guys! I have troubling against heavy ling/bane style in pvz. I don't know exacly how to play against it or what to do. In this game I open with glaive build and the zerg keeps denying my third over and over again. By the time I discover that the zerg is going for this kind of style I feel I have to wait till I have the necessary counter units archons/sentrys for that or try take a third and not fall behind too much (if im lucky the zerg won¨t be aggressive). I don't know what kind of strategy I should utilize against this kind of play. I feel the only way I can do is sit back and do a 2 base all in push?

Can't watch the replay atm, but overall, you shouldn't have any troubles holding ling-bane 3rd pushes with glaive builds. You kinda hard-counter it with adepts. According to stats he did 87 workers, so i assume he delayed his eco to push your third then went for full macro into muta? If so, in reality you can just keep warping adepts+1(2) sentries while taking your third. When 2-3 pylons at your 3rd are up, with adepts placed in-between nexus and pylons you gonna hold an insane amount of lings. Sentries are just an icing on the cake as you can suffer 0 damage in some scenarios. Banes add a layer of difficulty ofc, but remember that investing into heavy bane play early costs him A LOT. You will need some adepts splitting (do it beforehand). The only problem is identifying if zerg is commiting or not. Just work on your unit placement/engagements.

It's not just about sentrys. It got to be a more reliable way to play against this kind of mass ling/bane style without having perfect reflexs for ff and simcity. Read my post again and ask yourself if your comment is really necessary.

Man. Simcity/proper walling/FF are essential skills to every protoss player. Its like not messing up injects/mule drops. They have nothing to do with perfect reflexes whatsoever. You either master them or play zerg.

No? Do you even play protoss? How quickly you must responde to adequate put your FF in place before you get surrouned or flooded by banes, even one gap left open and you're army dies. It's not compareable to macro actions like injections or mule, that's something else. And why didnt you mention chrono boost?
I believe your issue is you did not react appropriately. You lost your initial adepts. If you were a bit more careful you will have noticed your opponent has a lot of zerglings. You were actually ahead on workers before you even attacked, which should not be the case. I think your failure to hold your third is largely because you were short 5-7 adepts which would have made a big difference for holding the third.
