But yes, clarification of how much of the totality is included on the descriptor should have been clarified. Apologies for the shorthand. With that in mind--do you feel more in-sync with our stances on this discussion? I think you took a global problem and threw a the west in there to sound edgy E: also "dislikes consent" is such an awkward and inaccurate way to phrase what you were trying to say.

What the fuck even is "western culture" in this context?

Depends which part of the conversation you are talking about. It is a moving target.

when i think of america i think of fireworks on the fourth of july with a big ol bbq, bad beer and football when i think of canada i think of camping, snowboarding in mountains, and hockey games with slightly better beer European countries have lots of culture and even better beer.

The problems women have in various parts in the world are different from each other and hence requires a different solution. I am assuming Canada does not sweeping reform to stop Canadian men and parents from throwing acid at their women's faces? Conversely, I have yet to hear of rampant genital mutilation in the U.K.
However, the issues of women in western culture is not limited to what is cooked on the 4th of July or whether or not there are moose in the nearby area. If you think that somehow solutions for western countries should overlap with solutions for non-western countries go ahead. As I have continually stated--the problems that I am willing to discuss are the ones where I have context in knowing. If you wish to solve problems in Africa, China, India, and Afghanistan then go right ahead--that is not the topic of discussion.
If you wish to pretend that the western world does not exist, then maybe we are at an empasse. Without us coming to a baseline it is pointless to move forward.

You're having issues with inclusive can exclusive terms. I am comfortable talking about western culture, hence I talk about western culture. That does not exclude western culture, it simply does not include it within the framework of the dialogue. If you wish to talk about global issues instead of talking about local issues, then say that instead of dilly dallying with nonsense you don't mean.

Please then state clearly what you consider western culture, where it can be found, and who practices it. Following that, please state what you base your knowledge on, provided sources for your claims, and form a coherent argument using generally accepted definitions (use meriam-webster if you are in doubt). Double-check your facts (e.g. genital mutilation incidence in UK (3.8% of all UK boys born in 2000 were circumcised (which is pretty textbook genital mutilation except we allow it because of superstitions) and 137k UK women suffer from FGM)).
EDIT: Also, I've seen better attempts at academic bullshitting from bachelor-students.

im not having issues mate you just always have to get the last word in even if you completely change the subject to do so. havnt said anything I didnt mean and not trying to talk about the world or pretending where i live doesn't exist (not sure where you were going with that one) we weren't even talking about issues and solutions you just flat out said: "the west dislikes consent" which no matter how many different angles you to try to sell me on it still is a pretty stupid thing to say. we can go through it word by word and define what they mean if you like. and i'm gonna keep bringing it back to the main point no matter how many rambles you take off to left field as long as you keep trying to defend that statement.
like wtf does dislikes consent even mean... "damn it sucks when people wana have sex with me"

Which made me think of some great questions.
First if you masturbate after a drink have you just raped yourself? Where do you report the rape and are you more victim or rapist?
If a heterosexual has drinks with members or their own gender must they want to rape them? Can you be hetero and drink with members of your own sex?

was the radioactive fallout from Fukashima large enough to warrant being worried about it if you live in California? I heard someone talking about taking stuff to avoid getting radiation.
