-Dany would never be able to be in time to save them -The northern expedition had no real plan to get a wight, they just got lucky. How convenient. -Arya and Sansa with some fake drama (and wtf was that last scene) -Not even the action scenes were any good, the killing of the dragon was ridiculous (how it was portrayed, the nightsking would have no problem with dragons), the wights were just easy to kill fodder. Usually i criticize the show but still think it's decent. This time it was garbage though. 3/10

Actually, now that I think about it, the night king guy could have killed them all along with the ice spears as well. Maybe the night king let them live that long on purpose so Dany would come and he could get a dragon for himself :O. Dany getting there in time is bothersome, but I can chalk that up to "they spent a week waiting in that little island". Funnily enough, while googling how fast a raven can fly, this came up https://www.reddit.com/r/freefolk/comments/6u75t3/lets_do_the_math_on_how_long_it_would_take_a/

I like that we still know nothing about them. The whole Sansa arya thing is either arya baiting little finger or arya is legit crazy from all the murdering. I'm hoping it is the first one, because the second one is boring.

For me he ranks up there as one of the bigger missed opportunities in the show.

That episode was terrible. That was some serious feces. If that episode is 1/10 already then what the fuck are normal tv shows for you? -1000/10?

I can definitely see complaints with the episode, but for the most part I only see negativity regarding Game of Thrones on TL. I enjoyed the episode. Some things were silly and I couldn't deny that, but I wouldn't call it the worst episode or a 1/10 either.

That's interesting, because (assuming both options are done with some competence) I would think the latter more interesting. The former would just be making her the most powerful character in the asoaif universe. She's already the best fighter in the realm, can disguise as anybody, has wolverine levels of regeneration, can travel great lengths without any money, makes great pies and now schemes so well she can bait Littlefinger? I dunno, thematically, I can only see Sansa beating Littlefinger at scheming, if he doesn't die first.

Apparently the nightking is a greenseer like Bran, so it is plausible he knew the dragons would come.

She isn't the best fighter around. She very good and can hold her own against some of the best. But Brie disarmed her at the end of practice and Arya got to her knife, but she could just as easily lose. But I don't subscribe to the whole "combat power levels" in shows like GoT. No one wins 100% of the time. Her going crazy and murdering/betraying Sansa would be super trite and dull. I could see her being unable to stay in Winterfell, but I would rather the show pay some karma on little finger. He isn't at Ramsy level of "why does anyone tolerate this man's existence, he is clearly going to fuck you over," but it is close. I need him to fuck up and underestimate someone and get played. I don't need him to die. I would rather he end up under Sansa's thumb, but he can't pull this shit forever. Edit: But lets get to the real shit. How long has the Nightking had those chains? Because those are some single job chains, good for nothing else but hauling dragon. Did he greensee the dragons like 2 years ago and when "Fuck guys, stop making weapons and build me some huge fucking chains. I have seen the future and I have the dopest idea. It will feed directly into my Metal Album Cover aesthetic." Edit 2: Twitter is feeding me some high quality content: + Show Spoiler +

They actually tried to make the "teleporting" somewhat believable by showing a full day/night cycle, (Gendry is still faster than Usain Bolt tho). I really loved the small interactions between the characters, the battle looked awesome as always. Also, the Night King knew all along that Dany would be coming with her dragons, so it was pretty much bait. The journey itself to "capture a wight" is pretty foolish, but for me that simply shows how far Jon is willing to go to convince everyone the dead are coming. I mean the writing isn't pure gold, but it still works for me and this season is mostly about fanservice anyway. But overall, I really don't get it. If you're nitpicking every single details and constantly bash every episode, I don't see why you're still watching it. If your opinion is the series has gone from good to bad, then why are you still watching?

Anyway, after watching this week's episode, I'm super hyped for frost wyrm!!!

Also, that Wall better be magical, because the wights themselves can now clearly survive and walk around underwater at this point. Maybe the White Walkers themselves can't, though, and the Wall will block their mind control on the other side.
