Sums up both games up pretty well right here. I feel Rain could've won if he didn't recall on top of mines in his game against Mong.

He was 200/200 when he botched the first engagement letting BeSt back in. The second engage he was like 160ish? But just handled the fight really well EDIT: To be fair BeSt had just pulled the carrier + reaver move so might explain why Mong got flustered in the big engagement.

He caught Mong off-guard, and probably would have won if his troop management, carriers in particular, wasn't so god awful.

I thought he'd lose vs BeSt after the reaver harass and getting crushed in the 1st battle midd map. BeSt was up about 50-60 supplies on 5 bases, Mong was on 3 bases but he smartly went for super fast upgrades which is how you have to play vs carriers. Yeah I agree with you there, despite the first big engagement against Rain it was still waaaaay in Mongs favour. But then Rain just going "fuck it" and running into pre-sieged tanks and mines kinda made the ending lackluster. I think Rain coulda definitely made the game a lot more interesting but it was Mongs game to lose after he held the goons. EDIT: Also the final big engagement in Mong vs Best was like really well timed and he couldn't have asked for a better position to fight in. Kind of curious from Best to let Mong walk all across the map all the way to his natural, but then again, you let T do that I think that's in itself a huge blunder. Had he been able to chip away with carriers/lay some storms while Mong advanced, Best would've closed it out easily.
