let's be honest... it's just Zwayer being Zwayer. We allknow he is only there because he is a good subordinate to the ref bosses. He even got called out by some colleagues for his refereeing. He is just a shit ref who has no business refereeing at the big stage

Zwayer is supposed to go to the World Cup as VAR too. FIFA needs to stop this blind fool. It was such a clear penalty it's ridiculous he didn't give it after reviewing the video footage. Even Boateng called it a clear foul in post-match interview.
And maybe he would have given it if it wasn't the 4th minute of overtime in the Cup finals with the angry Frankfurt fans but just found himself lacking some balls yesterday.
It seems to me people are generally missing why there was some doubt in the ref's mind over giving the penalty. It is most likely because Boateng did not hit Tolisso intentionally. Both kicked at the ball, but Tolisso was faster resulting in Boateng hitting him. That way you could argue that Tolisso made Boateng hit him. Add to that that for VAR turnover things have to be very obvious and it does not become such an easy decision anymore.

It doesn't matter that he was trying to play the ball, he got 0% ball and 100% leg and that's a foul. It's one thing to not give that from live play because it's hard to tell with all the players in the box, but with even just one replay from the right perspective, everyone else in the stadium would have given a penalty.
No foul. It was clear that boateng was trying to get the ball. Suddenly a Tolisso's foot came inbetween. Same in bayern vs arsenal (5:1) game last year, Lewa's foul. about 0:56sec
Also just shows the stupid media bias again. This is in no way a VAR error, it clearly is always Zwayers (incorrect) discretion. Add to that, if there was no VAR it would have been the wrong call as well. But yes, let's call it definite proof that VAR doesn't work.
RIP Crotone, goddamn Parma back in Serie A... better I don't say what I think about them. I'm happy about SPAL staying up tho.
Inter qualified to the Champions League thanks to De Vrij gifting them a penalty, De Vrij that was already announced at Inter for next year lmao. Thrilling conclusion for this Serie A after all
Wow I just read that Bayern did not even stay after receiving their medals to congratulate Frankfurt. What a bunch of sore losers. And then they don't even apologise properly.

Yeah crazy final sequence to the match yesterday. Still as much as de Vrij giving away the penalty has to be blamed, what on earth was Inzaghi thinking subbing off his topscorer with 15 minutes left to play? Also that has to be one of the dumbest red cards from lulic I've seen in a while.
Good Spain NT squad list. I only miss Javi Martinez, he would be a good sub for Busquets. And maybe Sergi Roberto. Morata didn't deserve to go. But I like the list nevertheless.

Yeah I was half joking, but the loss is entirely on Inzaghi.
Midfielders: Sergio Busquets, Saul, Koke, Thiago Alcantara, Andres Iniesta, David Silva
Forwards: Isco, Marco Asensio, Lucas Vazquez, Iago Aspas, Rodrigo, Diego Costa On spain NT a couple of questions haitike;
Right back slot; Carvajal Odriozola - These are better than Bellerin? Bellerin is fantastic from what i see and one of the reasons sometimes Arsenal can defend, he is also good going forward.
Left back slot; Monreal is better than Alonso? Alonso got into premier league team of season and has scored so much with his left foot from freekicks and his attacking runs. Now he isn't better than Alba i 100% agree there, but surely he should have went?
Iniesta - Isn't he just taking someone else's spot being as old he is?
What is your starting 11 for them? Mine would be;
De Gea Dave Ramos Pique Alba Thiago Biscuits Silva Isco/Asensio - Costa - Aspas
De Gea Dave Ramos Pique Alba Thiago Biscuits Silva Isco/Asensio - Costa - Aspas
Your chelsea bias is showing No way azplicueta starts over carvajal
De Gea Carvajal Ramos Pique Alba Thiago/Koke Busquets Iniesta Isco Aspas/Rodrigo D. Silva
Iniesta is surely gonna start in his last tournament, he's still valuable (see Barca this season) Also, I don't think Costa will play, Lopetegui has preferred Aspas/Rodrigo.
Bellerin has been abysmal this season Pande. You need to watch more Arsenal games :p Monreal can be used on all defenders positions and he is a real fighter. Again, you need to watch more Arsenal games

The starting 11 probably will be:
De Gea Carvajal Ramos Pique Alba Thiago Busquets Iniesta Isco - Aspas - Silva
Maybe Koke instead of Thiago, and Costa or Rodrigo instead of Aspas. Some other players like Asensio, Saul and Nacho will have minutes for sure.
Iniesta will be probably in the starting 11 (with some resting in the easiest matches). He played very well last months, and he is still very good if rested enough (I think he was good enough for 1 more season in Barcelona).
About Monreal, we are all surprised in Spain too as nobody expected him. I personally prefer Alonso but Logetegui only called him once before. It seems Lopetegui does not like Alonso too much
My main complain is the lack of a good sub for Busquets, like Javi Martinez. If Busquets can´t play we will have to rely on Saul as DMC.
Lopetegui likes Odriozola too, but in my opinion he lacks experience. I prefer Sergi Roberto to both Bellerin and Odriozola. But I guess Nacho surpassed him as the polyvalent guy.
AAhh right ok, see @ everyone else, Alonso is prefered by Spanish people themselves :3
Iniesta starting is very strange for me, i know he is world class but surely he isn't fit enough to play many matches deep at a high level in probably high heat?
Iniesta played in the qualifiers for Spain this year and the team played very well with him. He doesn't have to play the whole 90 minutes but he will be in the starting 11 the important matches.
