isnt 35k viewers a lot ? seems like sc2 might be getting a bit of resurgence of popularity.

Showtime wasn't awarded the victory because he could never kill Clem's buildings.

If clem would have taken some time to regroup his scvs, repair and just attack buildings I think he could have had a better chance. gg tho.

Kinda cool to see a drawn game, they hardly happen anymore compared to WoL and HotS if my memory serves

Which means chasing Clem around the map was the only way Showtime could have lost.
Also building and then cancelling a nexus in the bottom left made it impossible for him to win outright.

Because showtime cannot kill Clem's buildings. They fly and he has no flying units.
A starcraft game ends when you've killed all their buildings, or when it's been a while since last units/building died.
Since Clem was out of units, and showtime was unable to kill Clem's buildings, the timer would go out. Meaning a draw.
They didn't bother waiting the 2-3 mins for that to happen, as it was the only thing that could happen.

The draw was definitely a lot better than Avilo Riddler which was the last one I saw before that.

I see, thanks.
Wouldn't make sense to count only building which are on the ground?

first neeb coming up ~3 years ago, then serral
now we've got these two super young players in clem and reynor moving up and trying to take the spot of #1 foreigner
what a game that was Too bad Clem chose the worst performing race by far in foreign Starcraft, I'll love to be proven wrong by him to, its been so long since the times of Thorzain and Co.
Not saying this changes the fact that terran is the worst perfoming race in the foreign scene, but Uthermal did win a WCS event much more recently

If you include only landed buildings, a Terran player could lose in a base trade situation while not attempting to force a draw which would be super dumb. (e.g., they are flying out all their production and the Protoss player wipes out their addons and supply depots leaving only flying buildings)
