Also broke my multiple week bad M+ cache streak with a titanforged wrist. Got nothing on my Lock, but it's just an alt so whatever.
Huh? How do you get a 370 items from emissary caches? I dont think I ever got a higher item than 340.
New change because their entire emissary system is garbage. If they throw us new ways to inflate our ilvl, we stop focusing on the fact that they are ruining the game with shitty systems.
Does this just happen every 5 caches or something? I dont get it. I did some emissaries recently and never saw this.
And yeah emissaries have always been bad, which I was totally happy with. You should not get high rewards for doing those brainless chores.
Well they changed it last week to scale with your ilvl because so many high ilvl people were complaining about their emissaries being 340 still, although they really messed up and made the threshold a bit too high so only people at or near 370 were actually getting 370 rewards (same with 355 caches). I thought they would change it to 365 at the least, but I guess they went even lower.
I have 374 and never saw a high cache like you are talking about. Is it only once per week or something?
It's any emissary that offers Azerite rewards which I think is once or maybe twice a week? Not sure tbh.

So Horde Hall of Fame is closed now ( Well, technically a few hours since any guild killing Ghuun before reset still gets the title ) and I'm pretty surprised how much it drove competition in a few areas. It's interesting to see how many guilds from each country or even region compose the top100ish
France only had 7 guilds based on EU servers make it in for example, while Germans had 17. And tonight was the last push of many guilds I know and it created more excitement than I expected it to.
I pretty much only do m+ now so having 3x340 when the rest of your gear was 375+ felt really bad. I don’t care about the traits at that point because it was harder to push more than a 15 without just dying to tyrannical mechanics. Our rogue is still the one who dies to random stuff nowadays because of the garrote trait being so good. It feels really bad when you have no control over whether or not someone will die. I welcome the 370 emissaries. Maybe they could have made them available at 370 ilvl to alleviate the inflation but then people would get stuck in the 360s

Where is such excitement seen? Are there forums or something I should browse? Right now my WoW communities are this thread and Reddit lol. I know from my wc3 days that blizzard forums are always terrible, but I bet there are good boards out there...

At least the best part of the emissaries for Sin rogues is that you can get SS on all 3 pieces depending on which zone is up.
I like it, at least gives me a more consistent way of getting higher pieces, even if not best trait, I have 370s instead of 340s.

They changed them like last week to award up to 370 if your ilvl is high enough. I think this was the third 370 cache.
The first one was changed like a day after it became available and then it was also bugged for a while, so you had to hold onto it in many cases for half a week to get it properly.

Soul Cleave costs pain, heals you for X and absorbs souls. It doesn't require souls and it doesn't benefit from them being out.
Either way you're consuming the souls which provides most of the healing - the instant heal from the soul cleave spell itself is small.
Consuming a Lesser Soul Fragment heals you for 8% of all damage taken in the last 5 sec, minimum 1% of maximum health.
You can spirit bomb and soul cleave but you can't soul cleave and spirit bomb so usually people are not spending fragments by walking over them or with soul cleave, they're trying to spirit bomb with them.
I'm not sure of the details for full defensive play. In this case you need the threat from a quick handful of spirit bombs so that you can kite for half of the fight without losing aggro, not taking the damage is far more effective than trying to bruteforce heal through it since we don't have nearly the power of a BDK for doing that.
THANK YOU! This is all super helpful. I really appreciate everyone taking the time to answer my nublet questions.
At what point can I start thinking about joining a guild? I am mostly interested in m+ rather than raiding. But I'll probably want to raid with the new raid. Is anyone in a guild that does m+10 stuff that would be interested in a 367/366 tank/DPS DH?
Right now I basically just play with a friend and his gosu friends. But it would be cool to build my own group of friends
*****
ALSO, wtf is with m+ not letting you requeue if someone DCs? A healer DC'd from my m+ key 3 (yes 3) times in a row. I didn't die, so it wasn't rage from me being shit. I just lost my healer mid-dungeon to a disconnect 3 fucking times in a row. There is nothing I can do without a healer :|
Np! It's kinda rough if somebody just DC's, but it happens infrequently enough that it's usually okay to drop the key a level and go again.
I may have been completely wrong about how soul barrier works lol

Looks like his pet control timed out, the mob figured its way too far from home so it teleports back but still has aggro on the dk and cant find a route to him so it teleports him there. Pets did reset position back in legion too, for example wl pet in arcway, but it didnt port the wl, so this is a new layer to the bug. :D

That initial teleport part would also seem to be a bug. The default behavior is just to drop MC and start hitting someone, i've ran with plenty of DK tanks who chained MC from the first-second boss through to keystone completion.
It sometimes happens when you're within range of their spawn location as well, if you break LOS on certain dungeon objects (including the bridge/stairs area around the boss where those mobs spawn) they'll teleport you to them and/or teleport themselves back to their spawn occasionally.
This is the teleport stuff i've been having problems with!
This happened to me on Freehold once. I kept getting teleported up to the area overlooking the first boss, where you have to walk up the stairs to kill some dudes. It wouldn't teleport me back until I killed a mob up there. It was really weird. And this was as a DH, so I'm not sure where pets come into play ?_?

Well, nowhere public like that, but I know French guilds had a lot of banter going between guilds for the race to HoF, a lot more streams going, and overall drama than usual.
There's a marksmanship hunter rework on PTR now. A lot of good changes! Their cooldown was replaced with a new one (back to 2 minutes!!) and they got several new talents, relative damage pass on most abilities, tweaks+polish to spec mechanics.
I think that the trick shot mechanic needs some serious looking at, mainly because it's highly restrictive to a point where it's not really reasonable to play with. Azerites also need a pass over to be fun and work with the tweaked designs and then balance, after that it's a spec that looks nice.
Grievous sanguine is cancer. A slightly undergeared group of me and my friends barely timed a TD9 and missed a ToS10. Mistakes make group-wide dots, healer is stressed and the tank or two dps dies from mob mechanics. The usual stuff of sanguine in hallways and corners with caster mobs was not so bad, except for when mechanics make you re-pass them, which puts grievous on you, that you sometimes don’t have a pot for. Very very unforgiving week. I’m not going to like trying to pug it on alts.
One mythic plus also involved teleporting people with aggro between floors of Tol Dagor. I’ll be happy if or when those are fixed.
Did a freehold 10 that felt more like a 13 and had many wipes to bugs in there including pulling mobs through walls and packs holding aggro on people that died and released
