Hoping my Blazers do well in the West but I'll be rooting for the Raptors to win it all. Also wtf Lebron missing those 2 free throws in crunch time. Bro you have to make these. You can't make all these killer deep 3s and miss those .

Lakers as a whole have something very nice in Ingram, Hart, Kuzma and even Lonzo (although I'm still not confident on that one, his finishing at the rim is dreadful) Also out of the top MVP candidates whose teams won't contend for a top seed (so AD, Giannis, Lebron), he has by far the worst defense and even might be the only MVP candidate with below average defense. So you can't even say he carries his team two-ways. Some of Lebron's lapses in defense are inexplicable to me given his BBIQ. He will just forget his man in the corner, while not even being in position to protect the rim (you know he won't sacrifice his body in the regular season for plays like upfront blocks or charges). He's just kinda lost in no man's land and lets his man shoot. I don't mind if dudes are blowing by him on drives (even though the Lakers don't have the best rim protection to back that up), but he should at least walk to the right spot :D.

Everybody scores, the games are close. perhaps. whatever the cause the NBA's execs deserve some of the credit for creating a lot of entertainment in October. The Pistons//76ers game was fun to watch. Many say Casey's X's and O's are his weakness; tonight though Griffin credited Casey with drawing up a great final play. I thought it was a good play. They got Embiid floating in no man's land.

Wiggins is out tonight. VanVleet is questionable with a toe injury. Delon Wright should be back tonight.

Wiggins missed his second game of his career. Im thinking some people might start to see what they would miss without him if he misses more time.

People who watch the Celtics closely are saying Irving has lost some muscle on his body ; his legs in particular are not looking as muscular and as strong. I recall , last year boston management made a point of publicly declaring he'd be "managing knee pain/problems" the rest of his career. I'm waiting to see Irving pull off some amazing, explosive moves going to the rim. 3 weeks from now ... if i don't see any of that great explosiveness then these observations about his legs and lost muscle mass start to look like a problem.
