Well the only game I saw Firefist in was a loss, but he lost to a bonjwa. So he could be good, just not as good as Hwaesung's best player, BackHo.

Besides, FBH's recent form has been a lot worse than Iris's. You can't really compare the two situations, right? I mean, obviously there could be an upset. That's why they play the games. Anything could happen... but that doesn't mean it usually does. Actually it happens quite often. Just look at mst results. How many players that looked like they were going out actually made it out? It really depends on your definition of "looked like they were going to", I think.

"looked like they were going to" as in favorites of taking the group, which iris is.

Can anybody clarify? ya i dont get it, he said he lost and thought he should leave? he went thru to Ro4 and then beat GoRush, why's he feel bad? He didn't want to play Devil so he thought he wasn't good enough so he wanted to leave. But Devil W.O before Daezang, and Daezang couldn't leave on Gorush, so he stayed. ??? so he was scared of devil but not scared of gorush? how's that plausible? Sorry about not clarifying that. Devil beat Daezang 2-1 and GoRush 2-0 originally and got to the finals, but he played in the wrong map order (Desti -> HBR -> Byzantium instead of Desti -> Byzantium -> HBR [I think]) The CJ coach realized this, and told the KeSPA referee, willing to have Devil play over from the Ro8 against Daezang. The KeSPA referee said that they had to replay all the matches from the beginning, but since the first map, Destination, was played correctly, Daezang>Devil on Desti stays and Devil would have to play from 0-1 on Byzantium. CJ Coach was very angry saying he already won the match, he would understand a rematch from the start, but starting with 1 loss is a huge disadvantage, especially since he originally won. CJ Coach and Devil decided to forfeit than deal with this nonsense with KeSPA, and Daezang was told to play against GoRush for the Ro4 match. Daezang said that he wanted to forfeit, but Devil had already left, so he played against GoRush. SPREAD THE KESPA HATE!! This was in the MSL prelims. You'll confuse people by posting it here. : D Yeah, if you wanted to you could have just linked to that post WOW FUCK KESPA

It seems to be true that upsets are likely during the offline qualifiers, but it's called an upset because it's not what you would expect, right? I still think Iris will take it comfortably.
