I haven't been playing SC2 much but I have been working on a custom map gradually in my spare time. If I could continue to improve and test it in those weeks of downtime, it would be a great asset. I know that you can test maps without logging on to Bnet, but if SC2 needs a connection to Bnet just to be able to run and test the maps, that will not be good. (Even if the editor continues to work, having a map editor without the ability to test maps is useless for custom, non-melee map creation. =/ ) At least we can hopefully look forward to the ability to play custom map games on Bnet (without needing everyone to run some 3rd party program). | ||
