Fact is, Blizzard is like a stubborn two year old trying to keep his cookie jar. When in reality after they throw their little fit, they will get bored, tired, then fall asleep which is around that time actual FUN is allowed. It'll happen, trust me. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bnetd#Blizzard_takedown_demand_and_lawsuit Piratebay case is a bit different than this one... As this (bnet) is about intellectual property (cant find better words atm), and then breaking directly against DMCA and other stuffs.

As long as the server doesn't provide any actionable service to Canada, the Server is in this "gray zone" where it can be used as an illegal private server, and blizz has 0 controll over the servers existance. Today's offshore poker servers and the UIEGA are a prime example of the US not being able to action against anything that's blatantly illegal. They couldn't attack the servers themselves, so they just make cashing the paycheck illegal, or giving them money illegal. Private servers will want neither of these two things from us. So we're good... just gotta wait.
