Flash was totally in the game even after his vulture drop did almost no damage. He really lost it when he decided to stop scv production and went for all-in 1 base play (the kind Boxer liked to do in the old days), which Effort countered perfectly. Flash would still have won against almost any zerg if he switched to defensive play after the failed vult drop. But obviously he didn't feel that confident against Effort.
This would never have worked. It's not like it takes 1 minute to put down a CC, bunkers and everything. Effort could easily have double expanded or something or even fast defiler lol

I thought the same thing..

Forever The Sickest Kids - phone call
For your future searches, if you type "phone call lyrics" or a few words of the song in google, it'll usually pop up the song.

Flash is still the best player around, but Effort deserved to win this series. Very good finals, I hope the MSL finals can compare.

I think the fact that this thread is still gaining attention is a sign that this was a great final. I mean the whole atmosphere, the poor decision making due to nerves, failed cheese, the comeback, the upset, etc. Those things combined make a starcraft final what it was. I dont feel like both players playing their absolute best is the thing you should be looking for, because i mean like you would only see that from standard builds mostly right? You should just be going in to see what those two people decide to do on that day, whether it's cheese, or a greedy build, or an all-in. You can't expect them to just go in thinking to play standard so we can have awesome matches. They are trying to win, and if they think all-in builds or cheese will get them there, then that's what we see. I just think that this is what a starcraft is. If you didn't get that I hope you get what I was trying to say. That's just my opinion.

epic finals... (how else can you describe a 0:2 comeback) hoping for an even better MSL

The was is not "imminent", yes there is alot of tension, but an actual armed conflict is not likely to happen.

JAEDONG!!!! EXTEND FLASH'S vZ LOSING STREAK TO 6!!!!!!

I mean it can go two ways of course depending on how Flash handle the OSL final.
Either he is just so bummed that Jaedong will win this easy. Or Flash will use this to get pissed, work hard as hell and come out in the MSL final and play in a way that he know he is capable of.
If so we will have a epic MSL final to look forward to.

Will there be another OSL?
