That makes me wonder... how will you monitor who's actually "unknown"? I mean I have 2 beta keys. I can simply sign up with the other name or whatever just to take the easy $50 (or $100). Or sign up twice... or whatever lil sneaky shit some one might pull in order to get an easy $50...... (Stewie in second phase of beta could actually be Nony or something (No offense))
Just wondering... -.-
There is no 100% guaranteed way to keep people from doing that. You have to go on the honor system, which is the crux of all large public online tournaments as anybody can proxy, use different emails, and etc.
It is also not limited to cases like the Micro Macro "Best Noob" award. You can do it in any sort of open online tournament especially ones with a window to play your games. Sign up under two accounts and on the chance that you have to play yourself on the other account, just not show up on it and you get an automatic bye.
All of which are very bad things to do. You get caught, I would say goodbye to those two accounts ever being invited again to any sort of tournament.
That is also why we are likely to hold the Best Noob award at 50 dollars. Due to, unfortunately, the risk of players ruining the fun for everyone by doing just what you mentioned.

Official announcement to come early next week. Casters I am talking to are currently busy this weekend and nothing will be officially announced until they are ready. Fighting game events...
Patience, all good things come in time.

Hellsangle?
Cuz from the brackets I saw linked winners of last 2 were Hellsangle and Yiff...
I played a Hellsangle before... ^^ (I think he said he's Chinese...)

Look below those two bracket links, in the next paragraph. The third and most recent tournament, Kyle's tournament, can be found linked there.
