The reason I ask is that I have dietary restrictions so most likely wont be able to eat the food and can forego a t-shirt. I am also bringing someone else with the same problem, so I would like to only throw $250 for transportation, accommodations, and living expenses for the weekend, and yes, I would like to save $30 for food I won't eat and a t-shirt I don't need. I didn't realize that part of that $15/entry was going towards funding the prize, which if it is, doesn't directly support the "SC2 community" but instead supports Green Forest E-Cafe since the prize money is pre-determined. Given the comments it seems that money is more important to the community than the presence of its members. I guess Blizzard isn't the only one blinded by Activision's greed. Thx for having my back Huameng and Blade ^.^

The T-shirt is just an added bonus, I'm sure none of the participants look forward to getting a T-shirt and are just joining in for the fun. If you're not willing to spare the money, then it's understandable but to bash Diggity and his effort is a bit rude. I'm sorry if I was rude, but may I ask what I did was rude? Thank you in advance.

I'm sorry if I was rude, but may I ask what I did was rude? I guess Blizzard isn't the only one blinded by Activision's greed. That If you want to be removed from the entry list let me know. what's stopping a player from registering just for the online event for the sake of playing a tournament vs good players ? Why would they pay 15$ to do that? I think you overestimate public desire to play vs good players, particularly when they can do it for free otherwise. Even if they are, the qualifier isn't single elim and I don't anticipate that any players will be in the top 32 that don't deserve to be there. I am also adding a hardcap of participants at 64.

I also love being able to support e-sports in the West.

If people don't show up for their qualifiers on the primary list I will fill in people from the stand-by list.
