You really got to test out a wide variety of products for yourself to get an idea of which is more suitable for you and I would never buy a product online, unless you a) already tested one b) huge discount You could still get screwed as well. For all you know, you could be buying a refurbished mouse. Recommendations are nice, but in reality you are better off testing the ones your interested in yourself. Hell, some pros still use ball mice.

But I only recently tried the deathadder and it's very good, even for smaller hands like mine, and those with larger hands. and the travel distance for clicks is very small. I use the claw grip and had no problems doing so on a death adder. edit: death adder has already been mentioned 5 times in the thread lol.

Deathadder, Sidewinder, MX518, G5, etc. are for FPS. These are too heavy for you and will hurt your wrist once you start playing a lot. These are the characteristics you are looking for when searching for a mouse suitable for Starcraft. - Light weight - Easy to press buttons - Wired Other commonly marketed factors such as DPI and button reaction time (usually 125 Hz and 1000 Hz) do not bring any noticeable impacts to you performance. You do not have to invest on a gaming mouse. If you can find $5 mouse that clicks easily and is light, it will perform better than most gaming mouse available. Though if you want a gaming mouse I recommend Razer Abyssus because that's the only mouse on the 'recommendation list' that is still available at electronic stores. The mouse is actually cheaper at local stores than the official website because it is not as popular around here. To further improve your performance, have a mouse pad for consistency. You definitely don't need a million dollar product for this one. Any surface you feel comfortable with and is portable should be sufficient. If you have couple bucks lying around, see if you can get your hands on KeSPa official mouse pads. I don't have one myself so I wouldn't know why but it is strongly recommended by many Koreans. Also search TL about mouse acceleration as it will have more impact than your mouse or your mouse pad. Edit: OP, think twice before getting Razer Deathadder. I have one because it is one of the few gaming mouse that has a lefty version. After a few games, my wrist starts to hurt, quite a bit.

no a deathadder definitely is good enough. it just depends on what you like really. his suggestions are just kind of the ideal of what to look for in a mouse, just like ideally you would want to play on the highest sensitivity possible so you could get the most efficiency out of your movements. the deathadder is a quality mouse, but i would say definitely not to get it if your hands are small. and your wrists will probably hurt regardless of the mouse just because its different, but that goes away in like a day or two then its gone forever
