This is pretty awesome for them and I'm sure there's some well-deserved goodness in it for Sean as well, so grats all around. Only thing I'm curious/worried about is this feature: "No Viewer Limits for gaming producers", as I'm quite sure limits were reached for some countries during Assembly, though maybe it depends on account type or something? Anyways, if they can deliver on all said features and more in the future, more power to them, they're definately turning into the go-to place for streamers.

I'm legitimately excited that there's one streaming site that's openly supporting the StarCraft 2 community.

We think that 2011 is going to be a huge year for eSports and for Starcraft II in particular, and we want you all to know that Justin.tv is dedicated to supporting the long term growth of eSports and competitive gaming! We're proud of and excited by the success of recent Starcraft tournaments, including the scReddit Invitational, GosuCoaching's Premier League, and RootGaming's Success Pays Invitational to name a few, and hope to continue supporting similar Starcraft events. We're committed to building the best, most reliable, platform for casting eSports. We're in 5 datacenters already, and we'll be in many more by the end of the year. With more than 300 gbps of in-house bandwidth, we have one of the most robust networks in the world for streaming video. We now average more than 1 million views per day across gaming, and are growing fast. We got serious about gaming on Justin.tv in December last year when we noticed that was pretty much all we ever watched at JTV HQ. That's why I'm incredibly excited to announce that Day[9] will be broadcasting on Justin.tv starting today! “We were impressed by the level of support and quality that the site offered,” said Eric Burkhart of Day9tv. I don't think I need to introduce Day[9] to anyone here, so I'll just say that his daily cast was what got me into watching Starcraft commentary last year. Seeing him cast on http://www.justin.tv/day9tv will be a real treat for me personally, and I know the entire team at Justin.tv will be tuning in to Sean's shows on the regular. Day[9] joins all the great players, teams, and casters already on Justin.tv, including TotalBiscuit (http://www.justin.tv/totalbiscuit), Husky (http://www.justin.tv/huskystarcraft), and GLHF.tv (http://www.justin.tv/glhf) and many more. Thanks to you, Justin.tv has become an awesome place to find live Starcraft content. If you have any questions for the Justin.tv gaming team, we'll do our best to answer them in the comments. Our question to you: What are the best things we can do to support eSports, and Starcraft in particular? Streaming features, sponsorships, events? To give you a quick summary of some of the cool features we've built based on gamers' feedback in the last few months, here's a short list:
Thanks Emmet! These are great news! I'm so glad you take these things seriously, SC2 is a true spectator e-sport!

*) Bring back popout video for VODs *) Better support for Europe (no matter what mapthesoul says, I've been lagging on a <5ms latency 100Mbit connection when US DSL watchers haven't), *) Have the VODs downloadable as blip.tv has =)
