Just did a bit more digging - in mission 3 I don't have the portrait or the actual model (in game) for vultures. In mission 1 I didn't get the Jim Raynor model or potrait in the briefing. Any ideas? I've downloaded/installed exactly as per the instructions :S

I wish it was more like sc1 as possible since I play on Mac and after Lion is released I can't play legacy games anymore so this would be beneficial.

Sorry what do you mean 'add the mod file link' - I've downloaded it and put it in the SC2 mods directory as instructed, if that's what you mean :S

+ Show Spoiler + ATTENTION: To all those who are having problems with launching the game! I have had the same problem for the past 2 days. Somehow JUST fixed it. Follow these steps and see if it fixes yours as well. Step 1: Click Rebel Yell v1.03 UNDER RECENT FILES this is a must and download it. Save to Desktop. Step 2: Once download is complete, extract to your maps folder in your starcraft 2 folder. The one located in program files. Replace all existing Rebel Yell maps. Make sure when you click on "Maps" folder that a sub folder called "Rebel Yell" is there. In that folder should be only the maps and no other folders. Step 3: Once again under RECENT FILES. Click and download the "SC1 Mod v1.02" download and save to your starcraft 2 "Mods" folder, DO NOT CREATE A FOLDER CALLED SC1MOD, just simply save that file to the mods folder that should already be there. Replace previous mod with this one. Step 4: You should be able to play the maps by Dragging the map on to the starcraft 2 shortcut. Enjoy. Side notes: For some reason the only way I got this to work was by grabbing the maps and mod under the "Recent Files" located to the right of this page. If you downloaded it by clicking under "Download & How to play" it simply did not work. I also only got the maps to properly extract by saving the folder to my desktop first and then extracting it after to the maps folder. I hope this solves everyones problem! This is... confusing to me. Apparently the mod file gets easily corrupted during the download, or something. Also: On April 12 2011 01:14 Count9 wrote: I get an error where I can load half the maps but the other half I get stuck on mission briefing screen with nothing nappening =( nvm, fixed it, all you have to do is wait ~5 sec after press any button to continue before pressing the button rather than spam enter or w/e Thanks Count, that should help a bunch of people. I always wait a few seconds by default before launching the game. The map starts could probably be smoothed out a little... I could also make a half-assed troubleshooting guide I guess. Kelberot: That's definitely not normal, and a new one for me. Sorry. Duckvillelol: See the above guide. Albrithe: Heh. Working as intended.

If I don't make the SC1MOD folder in the mods directory; I get the "Unable to load" error. When I create the SC1mod folder, I can get into the game and get into the first map, but still no Jim Raynor, so instant-loss. (I redownloaded the files as specified above to test all of this FYI)

It is not game-breaking in the zerg campaign, but I noticed it immediately in the second zerg mission, they are far more powerful against zerglings/hydralisks.
