Archons are faster and Colossus can walk over cliffs, so yeah. Walking over a Forcefielded ramp would be pointless with a Colossus or air unit when you could go to the side.
Also I'm not sure if it's a bug, like I said in the original post and notated the subject title.
I think if this "feature" stays, there can be other random uses, as it's use as a spotter is theoretically inferior to the Colossus or air unit hallucinations. Such as blocking enemy retreat up a ramp that's been Forcefielded already, or something like that. Gotta think out of the box with this one.

I agree.. if Blizzard made it so that Hallucinated Colossus walks through FF's (instead of crushing them, and instead of not being able to walk through them)... then.. i see no reason to believe it's a bug.

yeah, was thinking the same thing.
Doesn't sound like a detrimental bug considering there are faster and better units to hallucinate if your sole fear is gaining vision of ramps.
They're hallucinations, I would assume they can go through stuff.

hallucinate archons and move them ontop of your own forcefields to prevent ultras to crush them !! now i will never lose to zerg again

Hallucinated Archons do have more total HP than hallucinated Phoenixes, Void Rays or Colossi, so they might stay alive and give vision a bit longer...
Yeah, I'm not convinced either. >_>

What made u think hallucinated collosi destroy FFs? Are we playing the same game?

Its definitely a bug... units walking through FF's is obviously unintended

i don't see this being removed. they don't want the hallucinated units breaking the force fields, but they don't want the hallucinated units to get stuck behind them either. non issue imo.

Says Maliris without any source.
It doesn't seem detrimental at all, anyway. In fact, it sucks if you were trying to pass them off as real units.

I think that is the specific reason that they walk through force fields; this way they behave more like their non-hallucinated counterparts.
