Dude, at some times of the year flights from Charlotte to Raleigh are, no joke, 400 bucks. Thats like a 20 minute flight too. It's pretty ridiculous.
Heres my math...
Flight seoul - Raleigh economy 2500 USD per person MLG prize first place is $5000
Percentage of winning MLG from open bracket in current climate around 5%
so, 2 players flights = 5k + hotel = ~300-400 + expendature..
No player will go solo because of the logistcal side with language and what not...
So we will send 3 to the next event instead of 2. Hopefully thebest will be there to slap the haters with a wet fish.
In response to FXopen talking about money. Don't you get money when your players get on TV? I thought all players wear shirts that have logos all over them. Prize money alone isn't worth flying people of course, sponsors are important when it comes to pro gaming.

Exposure ROI for MLG is limited to the top 16 players.

Choya'll make it then. TheBest should be able to too, unless his pool play has gosu sauce players.

Sorry to hear about this =( Choya was so awesome to hang out with at Anaheim, sorry for the Raleigh folks who don't get to experience his greatness.
What does this mean for non FXO-Korea teammates? Will SloG and the others still attend Raleigh?

Are there really that many all-ins that don't involve banshees?
