They can't do anything about Koreans that come on their own and rape and murder their way into the top 5 of the tournament.

I'm imagining Boxer sailing in on a viking ship with an entourage of MMA, Ganzi, Taeja, and Ryung dressed in bearskins to accompany him.

naah. nestea would win every event unless im decided to send mvp over at some point.
IM.MvP vs IM.NesTea MLG final would make USA go wild dude, Obama would have to force Martial Law for the duration of the finals LOL
no offense but probably not as good as you think. MVP is amazing at playing mind games, and being so close to nestea I don't think nestea would put up a fight.

I can't speak to what NASL does as I'm not familiar with their policies. I have seen some criticisms of their practices as well as some debate, so the only opinion I would there is that unless you're inside the organization (MLG or NASL) anything that you speculate on is just that, speculation. There are dozens of variables that change on the fly in any travel booking. Especially when you are trying to coordinate not just your flight but also over 200 other flights for players, staff and VIPs that might be attending your event.
The League Exchange Program details can be found here:
For GSL pro's competing at MLG as part of the LXP, all travel and accommodation expenses are covered.

Neither GSL nor MLG "owns" their Starcraft 2 teams. What you're asking would be unethical to say the least, given this circumstance. MLG and GSL work together to make sure that players from both leagues have the best opportunity and experiences when they compete in the respective regions.
I would just like to say that I'd really, really love to see oGsMC or SlayerS_Puzzle at MLG.
And thanks for all the hard work guys, you bringing over some of the best Koreans and personal favorites like Boxer is gonna ensure that I'll keep buying your MLG tickets.

cool good info. how exactly do you chose which players to invite? is there set criteria or do you just invite whoever you agree on would be good?

god the protoss and zergs in here are childish as hell. you are bitching over 2 terrans out of 4? one of the races has to have 2 by default. couple this with the fact that nearly every brood war legend carry over plays T and that half of code S is T, and it would seem that 2 terrans fits in just fine. Furthermore, MLG cant control who accepts the invites and nobody can control who decides to come over on their own dime. Terran is by far the most popular race in Korea. Therefore, there will be more Korean terrans at MLGS than other races. Koreans are way better than foreigners, hence the odds of a Korean terran winning the whole thing are pretty damn high.

Well they COULD invite a Random player, but there aren't too many of those out there...
