But I did similar things in earlier BRs of mine as well, just not to this extent, see my earlier blogs. On March 16 2012 06:45 Xeris wrote: when was this game played? They have TSL tags in the replay, and it was uploaded into the gg database a year ago, so i'm guessing TSL2 qualifiers. Maybe KwarK can give a better estimate. Aah, I see, I thought he asked that because he saw the drop coming in, and I referred to mind controlling an ovie full of troops, but I get it now.

I was trying to add all the details that are needed to follow the progression of the game (such as shots of the minimap from time to time), but it's hard to be objective about my own work, especially as I've watched the replay several times. As someone who didnt know this match before: It's awesome!

With 200 energy he could have landed two maelstroms as well, I can imagine that working decently in case of a mass-hydra surprise. That said, I'm not sure either why was he so archon-heavy, maybe because his archives was busy researching maelstrom and mc? Or maybe he just doesn't like using too many templar with his low apm? I haven't seen enough replays of his to tell. On March 16 2012 07:04 Harem wrote: http://repdepot.net/replay.php?id=25351 This should be the replay if you want that instead to compare timings. ? That seems to be the same game.

Thankfully, I know every single expo spot and how it looks. Cuz I make maps. Great BR. Edit: FOR THOSE WHO DON'T GET WHY HE GOT DAs. He was on templar tech with zealot speed and he saw or guessed (doesn't show in screenshots) that lurkers are coming. He can either go all the way to robo tech and get observers or just get dark archons and mind control an overlord. He chose the latter. Risky, since scourge can kill overlords without detection, but cool and flashy. Or I could be totally wrong and he got them for some other reason, or as a combination.
