It's both good at bad. The Wire and GoT are kind of counteracted by CSI/NCIS/Burn Notice/Law&Order and all that other garbage that pulls in much higher ratings than the good shows.
To the OP, those aren't adult shows so don't worry. Dexter's Lab and Animaniacs contain far more depth than anything CBS has.
