Naniwa swears he is mindgaming people, but then flips and says Duckdeok is a dirty coin flipper. A mind game doesn't have to be a blind gamble. Something like saving up chrono boost, let it get scouted and then not go for a warp gate attack and just expand instead. It might leave you somewhat behind in what you could've been in economy, but the mind game might make your opponent overdefend. I guess it's sort of a coin flip, but it's more about tricking your opponent than just trying to blindly caught your opponent off guard.

When you do something on purpose because you believe your opponent will react in a certain way, and it works, it is a mindgame. For example, not putting down your 3rd pylon inbase, but still not proxying your oracle. When you are the victim of a mindgame, you say it's a dirty coinflip. Edit : There are also actual coinflips, but the mindgame is "better" than a coinflip because you assume that you know how your opponent will react.

A coinflip would be like lolincaDTrush warping in 4 DT's with all your gates without checking to see if your opponent has a cannon at the front first. A "Moon" would be like building a fake third hatch so that your opponent thinks your expanding and then cancelling it even though your opponent never scouted it, thus doing EXACTLY what your opponent thinks you're doing.
