Well, at least I've never done WoW.

Who cares if people share your feelings. Feel like sticking it to the man, angry with blizzard, trying to make a statement, unhappy with the price, then don't pre-order.
Here's what it comes down to: Do you want to play prologue missions right now or have access to the beta and play LoTV right now? Then get it. Worried about CE running out at your store location? Preorder it and get that stress out of the way. If you don't care about the aforementioned things then it doesn't matter when you get it.
Bottom line: Get the game if and whenever you want it and don't let posters here push you in any direction then the one you want. I'm in closed beta already, but wanted the missions. So bam, got the missions and won't look back. Pre-ordering itself is not the devil, it is the mindless falling for marketing hype which further encourages publishers to spit out more pre-order bonus bullshit and rushing games out of the gate that is the problem. We as a hardcore Starcraft community knows what to expect so it is less of a problem here. Yeah absolutely. This is an expansion pre-order of a game that we know roughly what to expect, not StarCraft III. I can watch any amount of LOTV I want and know roughly what I'm getting as a finished product. I'm not pre-ordering yet because the only reason I would is to get into the beta, and I'd still rather play some HotS for the time being.

I don't see a reason to pre-order or even order LotV at all. The only positive thing is campaign. Other than that, I'm annoyed at Blizzard's laziness during all these years. Lack of support, just balance patches here and there but that's far from enough to make SC2 big.

This is kind of how I feel, yet I am hoping for the best.

tfw when you have to pay 1.5 times the money you've paid for WoL+HoTs to get LotV.

I laugh a lot wiht this comment On July 16 2015 12:00 JimmyJRaynor wrote: in 2010 Frank Pierce, executive producer, promised SC2 was a 10 year esports experiment. so we are getting 5 more years of support beyond our purchase of the final installment of the game. Blizzard either supports a game for a long, long, long time.. or they cancel it and never release. Blizzard never has orphaned a community... so the likelihood of Blizzard pulling a "fire and forget" is very, very low. Mike Morhaime would have to get fired for a "fire and forget" scenario to be possible... and he'd have to be replaced by an asshole. Indeed we all remember how blizzard supported broodwar, how ladder was taking care of and ofc how strong NA(XD) or EU scene was........ Blizzard shoved a knife on our back in 2010 but that was ok, it didnt made bw community orphan because Blibli was already dead in our heart since 2006. Brood War's official servers are still up and running after 17 years and has no signs of shutting down, that alone is levels above the rest of the industry. True, the community has to pick up where BNet lacks but Blizzard games are always somewhat outliers compared to the rest of the industry where even community support are often out of the picture. It is not ideal to *YOUR* standards but it does not prevent you to enjoy Brood War by other means. Remember, technically iCCup and Fish are violating Blizzard's intellectual property by providing private Bnet servers. You expect Blizzard to keep providing ideal services that are probably costly for a small community? Sure you can but you also need to learn how a company works. BW was built on old technologies that isn't really up to today's standards and it is unrealistic for Blizzard or any company to do the things you obviously want. Blizzard supports its games well, it is a industrial wise fact. Also why the hell do NA and EU being weak has ANYTHING to do with Blizzard?
"Brood War's official servers" aka Blizzard servers were not design for RTS and you cant pull the plug on the number 1 when you're trying to sell number2. Also I dont think they are so costly for BliBli^^. That's why there is no point in shutting down the "Brood War's official servers" My standards are very low but before i give my final opinion they need to finish their game and it's seems to be the irony of the situation. How could they have been able to give us such an amazing game and wasted a lot of what was already build. The interactions in Bw are really good and a lot of them lack in sc2 but that was a choice that seems to be legit at the time. But with LOTV we saw old things come back so...are we stuck in a loop? Please dont remind me that blizzard has legal rights on broddwar, it brings back the memory of how they handled the transition from bw to sc2 grrr... When i was speaking about the "scene", i was not refering to proplayers like now but Lan events, my mistake;)

Don't waste your money. There aren't dragoons inside. (Means there aren't any goons inside demo missions :/ )

Good, because based on what I've seen and my experiences in beta, they need to shut up and take my money. Also, I believe that the various screens all suggest that the pricing will be less if you already own WoL, HotS, or collector's editions thereof.
