Alright, hopefully it's a 3-2 with many great games, or I feel bad for the people who showed up to watch live today

Yeah i don't think you can call Scarlett getting here a "fluke" she was doing very well in that period showing why she was able to win IEM Winter Olympics tourney. Just now maybe travel and what not is catching up with her and ZvZ is a bad match up.

Same logic applies tbh. if u can get ro8 gsl by cheesing a couple of games, then sign me up tbf she got ro8 gsl by beating billowy and 3 hugely slumping players. This has to be one of the all-time worst Ro8 runs, knowing what we know now about INno and Rogue's form. soO's run, to be far, wasn't all that much more impressive. He beat NoRegreT and Zest and then beat aLive twice. Yea but at least he faced Dark so he got to be a #2 seed.
There is always chance to go deep with mostly "cheeses" but at the end of the day lets see if this repeats or not cause one time RO8 is "cheese" but if this repeats its on the players to not let cheesy player to beat them

I think she was only truly elite at ZvZ, and even that she's fairly inconsistent at but she certainly looked good at IEM and has shown great potential, while otherwise she's coasted off of ZvP being a pretty imbalanced matchup (and sOs/Zest not being great at it) and INno being really bad form. She's gotten very lucky to only play one terran in all of her major offline outings, I really do think she's quite bad at the matchup right now.

She had a little bit of a hot streak, usually she’s not an IEM winner or GSL ro8 quality player and now she’s cooled back down to her usual level over the past load of tournaments.
Don’t get me wrong, her streak was cool and all but I feel like you guys expect way too much out of her now.

Yeah, seems about right.

Does that even matter? If one player is better he should play aggressive and win games from there. No problem to be a few workers behind instead of getting rekt.

No, as we all know if you win with aggressive builds it just means your worse. Good players only play honourable macro games
