I heard that Desaun Watkins kid was pretty good in college. Boy could run!

News coming in fast a furious this morning:
Brees stays with NO 2 years 50. Norwell to Jags (top gaurd on market from the panthers) 5 years Albert Wilson to Dolphins on 3 years from the chiefs, he's your Landry replacement Star Lotulelei to the bills 5 years (former High pick Panthers DT)
Woodhead was also released from Ravens, Pats come calling?
|
MMMM GIMME NORWELL. So happy for this deal, better than paying ARob the same money to fit in a run offense. Jags so good with the cap bah god.
Also Keenum to the Broncos and 90% confirmed Cousins to the Vikings.
|
Yeah, Norwell is someone that I wanted to see go to the Niners. On the bright side, with Cousins going to the Vikings and it looking increasingly likely that 4+ qbs will go in the top 10 of the draft, the Niners may be able to snag Quenton Nelson.
|
I don't see Woodhead going to the pats. They're pretty solid in that area. (You're talking about Danny right?)
Cousins going to the Vikings makes sense if they don't think Bradford or Bridgewater are going to be around after this year (basically already telling them to get ready to be teamless). I would have loved for him to go to the Jets so he could duel with Brady for a season or two.
|
Idk the Pats may be light at RB after FA, Lewis seems to want more play/more pay and who knows what will happen with Gillislee/Burkhead. Pats need a new power back.
Bridgewater should sign cheap with the Jets and see how it goes. Bradford should retire.

Who are the QB Desperate to needy teams now, here is my list from most to least
1. Jets has no one 2. Bills have no one, unless they are going for a interception record 3. Cardinals no one (edit apparently Bradford will sign here, still need a QB since we all know he will be hurt) 4. Da Browns picked up Tyrod, but he is likely just a bridge guy 5. Giants Eli is old and looking worse every year
Then there is the others that could
6. Mia, time to move on? 7. TB. Winston, is he really the guy? 8. Colts Luck is he broken? 9. Trubisky was it a miss
And if KC showed us anything last year is a mystery team could fall in love with a prospect and pluck them up.
But I do think with trades 4 in the top 10 is still very possible, basically just the Bronco's are out.

Sam Bradford to the Cardinals.
|
Is Sam the highest paid per game played player in NFL history? I would assume so I can't imagine anyone being higher.

I have no idea. I thought it was Brock Lobster.

Keenum is likely a bridge QB while they draft and stash someone for a few years. I think that the teams that are most likely to draft QBs in the top 10 (in order) are:
1) Browns (lock) 2) Bills (lock) 3) Jets (near lock) 4) Broncos (near lock) 5) Giants (god knows they should, but they may not) 6) Dolphins (if they can trade up) 7) Cardinals (if they can trade up)
I'm pretty comfortable with the idea that four QBs will go in the top 10. I think that the top four QBs are good enough to warrant the interest for teams to trade up and go get them. If a team is really high on Jackson, he may go top 10, too, but I think that is less likely.

We keeping Rhodes or what? I’m on my phone I can’t do proper research.
Cousins, Cook, Murray. We looking good boys. I just hope our defense doesn’t get dismantled.

Teddy Bridgewater signed with the Jets.

I agree with most of the teams you stated, especially TB where Winston has proven to be not so good of a leader of the team and really regressed this past season. Miami needs to make a decision on if Tannehill is their guy or if they need someone new. I don't necessarily think that Trubisky was a bust given the Bears' so-so o-line and no receivers and being a rookie QB with a dozen college starts. I'd give Trubisky another year to prove himself with some better options. KC will not go for a QB as they seem to really like Mahomes.
QB lineup, both in FA and in the draft, will dry up quick. Interested to see what happens if a team like the Bills or Jets have trouble securing a guy.

I can't find anything on Rhodes or Bridgewater. In regards to how much each player gets paid per game, I have no idea. I was thinking with that ridiculous contract Brock got a few years ago, he's still making bank by doing what Bradford does.
|
Cousins signs to MIN for 3 yr/84M$, F U L L Y G U A R A N T E E D. Dude got paid big time, but I was expecting north of 90M guaranteed.
Also, FUCK POZ RETIRED WTF.

Got one of them right at least. Cardinals making a huge gamble.
Danny Amendola expected to sign with the Dolphins. Fucking RIP. ): -- CONFIRMED 2yr/12M
Former Eagles TE Trey Burton adds to Bears growing offense with a multi-year deal. -- CONFIRED 4yr/32M

I was reading that Cousins wanted 3 years so that he would still be in his prime and could get another massive contract then. I'm also thinking he took a bit of a "discount" compared to what the Jets would offer since he gets a way better chance to win with the vikings.
I also agree with you on Trubisky he will get another year or two, but they could end up back on the market soon.

Jimmy Graham 3 years with the packers. I was expecting him to have a reunion with the saints. Could be deadly with Rodgers throwing to him, and they still pretty decent receivers. Now can the online give him the time?
|
Woah, Packers are releasing Jordy Nelson, apparently.
|
NFL radio was suggesting he might come back depending on offers but between adams cobb and nelson they had way to much cash at wr.
