I can't believe Brazil fluffed like 3 100% chances in that match. And Courtois' godly goalkeeping saved Belgium another 4 or 5 times. Meanwhile their defense was shown to be awful, and nowhere near worth the hype it was given in the group stages (or vs Mexico). Part of it was, of course, missing Casemiro. Fernandinho is atrocious (own goal was just unlucky, but the rest of his defending was also awful). But even taking that into account, Lukaku was consistently left completely free to do whatever the fuck he liked, and that second goal, there were 3! players without a yellow shirt anywhere near them, including de Bruyne, which is just fucking nuts. Also, Fagner is slow as balls. Every time he got in a running match with a Belgian he lost. Marcelo played an incredibly good attacking game (but was maybe part of the problem for the defense?)
Courtois played an unreal match. Gotta feel good making so many impeccable saves. I have absolutely no idea why Lukaku was subbed off. That made no sense to me.
The game deserved extra time, but well, it was not to be. Congrats to Belgium. Now take out those froggies (and then lose to Sweden in the final ).

Getting nervous now. Come on England! We can do this. Beer. I need a beer.

Loved the energy and passion from both fans and players, too. Players know what happens on social media and I'm expecting Neymar didn't love the memes or constant flow of articles berating him and that he actually cleaned up most exaggerated parts of his act. I thought this was a great game between two great teams that really could have gone either way, and Brazil could have / should have gotten one penalty. N1E wouldve cried conspiracy which is ridiculous, but all the other brazilians here have been totally reasonable. cya in 4 years indeed.
Reason neymar didnt roll was that brazil was 2 goals behind and any second time wasting costs brazil

Exactly. Any country that are too sure of themselves taking it start to gather a crowd of people who want to see the tears...although I'm divided on this one, England play far more attractive football than Sweden of course.

Sterling AGAIN, he has been sub par throughout the WC

Not sure who I want to win today. Usually this only last only until the first goal though.

Next 4 years? Do you know how long Pande and English media will remind us that they won in 2018? Our whole life...

Probably a fairly easy and simple England and Croatia win today. I don’t expect any miracles any time soon.
