Guess the English arent so bad are they. Maguire and Alli have always been assholes, Colombian opponents or not .............. Wonder why it left them for all their other game then. It didn't leave them in their other games, even at 2-0 up in this game Maguire started a fight in at the half line for no reason. Alli has gotten many stupid red cards due to his temperament. And of course this stuff is more pronounced when their team is not winning, so far other than in the Colombia game that didn't happen at this WC. They played Belgium with the 2nd team and arguably didn't mind losing that one to get in the easier bracket. I don't think England is a particularly dirty team, I just found your comment very biased.
I dont really care what becomes of England. I am just pushing back some of the nonsense people were coming up with forming opinions after one ill tempered game where very few are immune to provocation after the Colombia game.
Dele Ali has gotten 0 red cards playing for England and his club last season so has Maguire. Your arguments are invalid in supporting your assessment.
Every comment I have seen regarding the bad nature of the English team has been retroactive logic with no actual basis in fact or reputation.
Its actually painful I have to be on Pande's side on this.

There is no reason for higher temperaments Im not sure what to make of this. So the Swedes should go around kicking the shit out of England so that we get some intensity? Kinda insulting to suggest the Swedes arent trying their hardest You can play high intensity matches without fouls. You know that?
WOW Really? Thanks Sharkie I guess every team should just learn from Japan and pass the ball at the back for the last 15 minutes of a game.. orrrr maybee not..

So the ideal result here is Croatia win while everyone gets a yellow card?
Russia vs England would be pretty hype though.

you tell yourself that buddy. I like how you couldnt help yourself getting baited by the jab rather then actually just point out that my comment did nothing to address your argument.
Was just a test if I should maybe give you the benefit of the doubt and bother to address your point. Which I dont think I will now.

England are far from a dirty side and the only thing they have done "wrong" so far is Maguire dived in the box to get up and immediately say to ref "nope i dived"....so yeah he was bad there but didn't even appeal.
We have been grappled, manhelded and fouled no endlessly in the Tunisia, Panama and Colombian games. When you play "fair" like in this Sweden game you get that result a comfortably dominate performance.

This match is a little boring with both sides willing to press and go on the counter

In my memory, the quarterfinals of a wc/euro often had the best matches of the entire tournament, but not 3 of 4 look to be relatively underwhelming. edit: What a timing for my post.
