I agree that's it's more of a mental block for soO than any real problem in skill. In how many of those finals would you have put soO as the favorite before the games? Most of his final opponents were on an absolute tear when he faced them. The only ones he may have been favored against are Classic, Gumiho and ofc Solar in that IEM.
After how many finals would the talk move from "He's favored to win this one" to "This is finals soO. Maybe he can do it this time!

Classic won vs soO in group stage of the GSL he won and Gumiho always had soO number online. Solar was the only one where he was an overwhelming favorite.

god after witnessing soO's confidence increasing during this tourney to see it all crash down again :f

fairly sloppy control by Stats in game 2 and 3, but excellent game-sense and strategic thinking. It kinda sends the message that it's more important to know what to do rather than how well can you execute it.
Mad props for Dark, he really almost made it in those 2 games!
Now, unto the grand finals, let s keep the meme alive!

That has always been the case, it's also why he was never used as KT's ace because he wasn't doing that well in practice.

The only ones he wasn't were Dear, and INno. Even against Rogue it was even imo
Edit: and many of the finals he messed up big tim/choked big time
