I don't like it either

There are fewer viewers for grand finals than there were for quarterfinals yesterday

Starting at 9am seems less than ideal.

CS starts in over 5 hours no? Is there going to be nothing there in between? Could have started a bit later.
edit: forgot the all stars game.

Imagine what happens if Stats and soO decide to troll the CSGO major by turtling all 7 games.
|
Maybe if we all cheer for Stats then it will jinx to a soO victory. Or the powers of the universe are too strong for soO to overcome

Hopefully this goes to game 7. We're ahead of pace compared to last year, though. If we have good numbers for finals we probably still beat everything from yesterday.

I agree that's it's more of a mental block for soO than any real problem in skill. In how many of those finals would you have put soO as the favorite before the games? Most of his final opponents were on an absolute tear when he faced them. The only ones he may have been favored against are Classic, Gumiho and ofc Solar in that IEM. Zest, Classic, Stats, Solar, Gumiho he was favoured against. The only ones he wasn't were Dear, and INno. Even against Rogue it was even imo Edit: and many of the finals he messed up big tim/choked big time He wasn't favored against Stats come on. By that point we were 5 finals deep already. In terms of form/who I thought would win, soO was favoured. That's ignoring his record of choking of course. At this point he could play almost anyone and I wouldn't favour him. Stats came off of a super strong run at IEM Katowice so I was expecting him to win for sure.

This is the only arena day for SC2 bar blizzcon and it's not getting respect. Idk what you're smoking but share it.

Although the auditorium has a nicer feel to it I don't think there's much prestige in being in a half empty arena, and I really don't think it's worth messing up the show for.
