So sad to see him fall even further from his peak How can you not improve at a MU after all this time losing in it, while playing in EU where there are a lot of good zergs to practice with? Only saw the 0-2 result but still -_- This so much ! How was Stephano even good once? He is so terrible I cant even find the rights words for it. And sure, he occasionally has good games against P and T, but how on earth can you be a gold leaguer in ZvZ playing on Pro level in a region full of top Zergs? Its just so strange...

Rotti said on stream that he broken 7k mmr on europe recently, and to do that he must have had to face a throng of zergs. Yet he s being trashed in ZvZ at every single tournament, and his other MUs dont seem to be that much better, to make up for the losses in the mirror mu

Losing vs Toodming on the other hand is avoidable. I guess that was his tournament life right there

It's really weird. At this point watching him play you forget he was the foreigner GOAT once, and he is not that old.

Having a weak ZvZ cannot be saved by good ZvT and ZvP as ZvZ makes up for almost a half of your matches. This can work in Code S where you have more Terrans.

You can gain MMR playing almost only vs inferior players (but you don't gain much points and you can lose a lot of points if you happen to lose one game) I guess you need to watch his matchup winrates ingame to be sure but his ZvZ is probably his weakest here too

Don't know, but his winrates should be visible on his ladder account, aren't they? But I can tell you my experience, sure, I am not GM I leave every barcode, every mirror and every random(I play unranked). yet if I play enough I can get into the league I should be in(better said - I play vs people who are in the league I belong to ). Sure, on my level ZvZ/ZvR/Zv|||| don't make 50 % of my games, on the other hand I don't win 100 % of the time the rest of the games. Mind you I have roughly 5 % win rate in ZvZ(sometimes the other player leaves faster ) Think about that. Yes, I am nowhere near GM but it should be possible to be that high with bad ZvZ. It's still a ladder BO1, even BO3 in SC2 is considered volatile.

Stephano also lost to gogojoey? Is he sick or something at this point? Thankfully he didn't qualify for France, what a shameful performance.
