I see hilariousness in your username.

(I know not everyone agrees with this and finds it rather stupid, and i don´t think this was the greatest idea of the year but hey, you gotta give them props :D)

Yet one more who doesn't get it. I'm quite sure they're standing in line four days prior to release not because they're afraid to not get a copy but to get the collector's edition for 1 SEK. Webhallen in Stockholm is selling the CE for 1 SEK to the first 10 people in line at their release event (plus potential extra give-aways). Or they could just work for 1-2 days and have it delivered to their home.. Lol, I just had the same thought.

I've yet to meet anyone in Italy (or not) who would camp/wait in line for a game. Well, yeah, of course, not any game.

This is sad. I'm a huge fan of many video games, Starcraft especially, and I'm probably looking forward to this just as much as any one else. But I would never catch myself wasting days or even hours in line for the game.

too bad I m not from sweeden

I wonder how long it'll be before other people actually decide to get in line. I'll bet it won't be till the 26th. I can understand the idea of wanting to get there early to secure a good spot, but this is just too extreme.

Exactly. I don't understand the point of this when you could just pre-order it to be delivered to your doorstep.

Over ten people in line according to some comments on the shops webpage.

1) You get the collectors edition for "free" 2) You get 'free' merchandise 3) maybe it's fun.. for.. some people.

any of you guys living close to that shop should go there and make some photos for us

Why all the hate? Is it so bad that a couple, with no harm to you, decide to queue up for a game that we all love for four days? It's a once in a lifetime experience and you get a nice present for the time spent.
Would I do this? No, but it's a wonderful idea and I'm happy for them. Yes, we're all aware people can do math and take minimum wage * 4 days > $100 but if that's what you're posting here you're missing the point.
For those near Stockholm send them some TL love and if you can photos and interviews. These are two intriguing souls. Need to know more :-)

Probably has way more to do with the insane CE offer than dedication. They're probably going to sell those on eBay or something.

Someone standing in the middle of traffic doesn't harm me, but it's still extremely stupid.

Extremely stupid? That's a bit too much hyperbole for my taste. In addition, they're not standing in the middle of traffic they're hanging out with other people on the street for four days that also love Starcraft 2 and then they get a free CE copy and merchandise.
This is something this community should support or at the very least understand.

Wow, what a bunch of noobs, everyone knows you never queue up.
|
I don't see how it could be defined an "experience". Staying 4 days sitting and doing nothing just to buy a game is not an experience, it's just plain stupid
