There are many moments I will never forget about TSL3.
But the biggest one has to be Thorzain vs Fruitdealer.
I remember saying to my-self "Whats with this guy? Hes so methodological, he has everything plan to a tee... He's taking his time, clearing all the creep, scanning all the burrowed banlings. He is playing Perfect..."
I will for ever remember that day, as the day that sc2 discovered T-Zain.
I will remember the finals for being the first time watching a starcraft game made me scream out loud and brought me close to tears. I almost had a heart attack during that attack on game 6 (I am waiting for Day 9 to use it in a Daily on holding off Protoss aggression). I was screaming during game 7, "you need to attack now thorzain! please!!!"
I will remember that moment after Nani GG'd when the thought flashed through my mind that this is the first time that I can remember that the player or team I was rooting for actually won a whole tournament.
I would have to say the best series is a tie between Thorzain vs. MC and Boxer vs. Sen
Thorzain's massive Thor push vs. hallucinated Immortals vs. MC. Even the commentators weren't sure who would win.
Played while both players were in Denmark, so no lag to cloud the Thundergod's victory over the Kratoss Protoss.
Yes, we knew Thorazain was good, and yes, I was a fan already, but that is where I think he crossed from "good player having a good run" to "totally amazing."
Sadly i've been without internet for 1½-2 weeks doing tsl, so there's still some matches I havent watched yet. But I for me I gotta say the whole series between boxer and Sen was truly amazing, probably the best TvZ bo5 I've seen so far in sc2.
The whole Thorzain vs oGsMc series, that's the point where I realised how incredible of a player Thorzain is, especially that game he lost on Tal Darim, beautiful macro and micro, it was so tense and impressive
Adelscott's Forcefield labyrinth at end of game 2 vs. MVP, looking back it doesn't seem as awesome but at the time the nerd chills were out of control :D
