Also, the three codes don't work yet - inviting people is possible at march 15th (or 14th?). Just to clarify. Bought it, it's fun, runs surprisingly smooth. Of course, some bugs and needs to be polished (inventory, what the heck) - but overall, if they do it right, that will be a must have for me. Edit: Dean Hall should've waited to use this engine instead of Take on helicopters engine.

I think I might actually play this one. Still not quite as smooth as I'd like, but not anywhere near as terrible as Arma 2 was.

I hope they don't get their hopes up that they will get a huge amount of customers if there isn't going to be any zombie surviving in this! In fairness, ArmA has always and still is just a "for gamers" version of their internationally-used military sim backend software. They probably make enough money from international military organizations that whatever revenue they get from ArmA is chump change :p

Large enough to warrant a sequel to begin production on an engine to be made from the ground up before DayZ was even released.

As I said a couple posts ago, ArmA is just a gamer version of VBS, and given their customer base for VBS2 there was never any doubt that they'd be working on VBS3... and by relation ArmA3 (because that's where ArmA comes from). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VBS2 I don't think ArmA sales matter as much to Bohemia, because the big prize for them is getting and maintaining military organization support. It's why prior to DayZ they hardly even marketed their games... and almost all of the development goes into VBS, with trickle-down going to their ArmA patches. ... that would be why gameplay itself in ArmA2 (major concern at least for many people in this thread) wasn't as big of an issue for them -- their "primary" customer base was actually demanding support for other military organizations and improved simulations. Cool stuff to follow if you're interested

I, for one, am having way more fun than unfinished shells of videogames generally grant.

So many key bindings, and kind of hard to find things in the bindings menus, objectives etc. Still I think it's a matter of time for me to get used to it.

Anyone have tips on beating the vehicle mission. Maybe I'm an idiot but my grenades from the vehicle I jacked aren't killing the vehicles before I run out of ammo.
