For those who may be (rightfully) confused I'm referring to when you turn a tap on and then turn it down and you end up with a perfect line of water that any lower would be drips but it's not quite and it's this perfect thing line that doesn't change shape or move at all except for to fall down. I can't stand it, I do everything in my power to avoid it happening because once it's started I get physically sick trying to reach to turn it off and I literally can't stand it touching me.
As a phobia, I literally can't imagine anything more stupid, and I'm not even afraid of water more generally in any way! I used to be an avid swimmer even, but these perfect lines of water just make me rediculously uneasy and the fact I can't seem to get over it is so annoying.
Can't you just put a filter into your water tap so it sprinkles? :D lol

I keep thinking people know what I am thinking, like for example.. em... if there was a girl a like, and she was near me or something, if i was thinking about her i would stop because i think she can hear what i am thinking... dunno if i explained that well enough, also i always have to have my back to the wall when im sleeping, freaks me out if i dont. I don't like having my hands like, out, like my sleeve kinda always have to cover my hands, dunno why. I always think I'm walking weird, but then when i notice im walking, i start walking even weirder, and i think everyone is looking at me lolol. Also i don't really like people touching me like with there hands and stuff, feels weird. When I am waiting at the lights to cross the road I think everyone in there car is looking at me... and when i feel i'm happy, i think im not thinking properly.

Although I've gotten so much better from this and have been trying to get over it but.. it's difficult to even get motivation. My anxiety just skyrockets -_-. I've been suffering this for quite a while now and it's really been affecting my life. Fucking grr man!

The sound of it gives me the creeps & I can't stand the feeling of it on my skin. Forgive me but I love that shit lol. It makes me feel so good that I don't have any weird phobias.. at least not that I can think of right now. I'll come back later XD

Wouldn't call it a phobia, but when getting rice, soup or anything from a pot I always grab the scoop at the very end, even if it makes it very hard to get anything into the scoop, because I'm afraid I might touch the pot and possibly get burnt. Also everytime I'm getting gas for my car I have to make sure I brought my credit card / money. I never check my money when shopping for groceries, eating at a restaurant or anything else, because I usually know, how much I have in my wallet, but for some reason I can't fuel up before I check my money.

you have stronk phobia of running dry of fuel and not being able to pay the gas station. (that's) Very reasonable actually. Perhaps in your first life some bad happened to you, and passed you this certain phobia to save you one time.

Is this becoming a reincarnation debate? :D
I have that excact same phobia by the way. Have to check wallet every five minutes to check if everythings there.
In addition im afraid of pipes, open doors and are obsessed with double checking things (door locks, alarm clocks etc). Irrational fear sucks :D

Centipedes.
Holy fuck they're terrifying.

I don't even have phobias, let alone unusual ones. I'm just moderately afraid of a bunch of stuff and overly nervous about a bunch more stuff. I too check my pockets all the time when I'm in Montreal to see if I lost something or had it stolen. I do it even more since I lost my wallet at the Chicago airport.

iam scared of a spider/ biting(from inside the toilet) me while sitting on the toilet. worst fear i have .
i would say this sounds normal but i think about it often. because normaly iam not scared of snake or spiders.

I have recently started having a phobia about a mouse scurrying in my room/under my bed during nights. The first time I heard/felt it walk I freaked out. After that happened I literally didn't sleep that night, I then proceeded to rationalise with myself that it probably wasn't real etc. Then the next couple of days I spend barricading the only possible way a mouse could enter my room heavier and heavier and even though I'm pretty sure it couldn't have entered through it in the first place and 100% sure it couldn't have entered a second time, I still think I saw it multiple times but never clear, always in the corner of my eyes.
What I think is most telling about this irrational "fear" is that I always heard it walking right as I'm trying to sleep or when I wake up in the middle of the night. Another weird part is that I have no aversion to mice at all, I used to own hamsters and I know someone who owns mice and I think they're cute. Lately I've mostly rationalised the fear away but still every now and then I lie awake listening for that mouse and only if i'm really tired or drunk I can fall asleep without listening to some kind of music or audiobook while I'm trying to sleep, which I consciously do as avoidance, if I can't hear the mouse, the mouse isn't there.
I've always been twitchy in the dark but I think it's curious that I as a 21 year old that considers himself fairly fearless am now afraid of the "monster" under my bed even though I know it's completely irrational. I haven't told anyone this before, even writing it down here makes me feel ridiculous which I realise is probably part of the problem (hence me writing this here).
edit: PS:

While I understand this urge, it's a pretty bad habit. You show pickpockets exactly where you have your valuables thus making it easier for them to do it again.

I have the same fear. It's normal man. That's what your uncle told you would happen when you were little and the fear stuck with you. I know that feel bro.

Ants. Not just one or two or a dozen. But when they're swarming and it just looks like a black mass moving around. I can't stand it. I presume it originated from a dream I had as a child where I was playing on a playground. I went to climb up the ladder for the slide, but when I got to the base, there was just a pile of ants. They started climbing up my legs and soon I was covered completely. It was the most terrifying feeling ever. Now I just avoid any large pile of bugs I see.

I'm really scared of deep water, such as lakes or oceans. I love the beach and any kind of shallow water, but once it goes over my head I start freaking out.

Maybe not a phobia, but the material that is in low-quality mattreses(sorry, I don't know the english word^^) really freak me out, my neck hair rises and I think it's just plain disgusting. Other than that, you know instead of shoelaces on kids shoes they have something google translate calls "velcro", but I don't trust that being correct. Anyway, whenever I open one of these things I feel really disgusted, much like the other one, and want to go take a shower.
Again, I don't think these are phobias, but not all that normal maybe^^
