Firstly he intros every single game saying Agh is from team Last Generations. Agh is on team Lazarus Gaming. It kinda hurts their team and reputation that the caster says the player is from a different team that if i am not mistaken does not even exist in SC2. Agh is the only player from Lazarus Gaming playing in the IPL and I sincerely hope that a lot of people didn't actually believe TotalBiscuit saying Agh is from team Last Generations. Just saying "LGAgh" like Wheat did is better than "Agh from team Last Generations". http://www.lazarusgaming.com/roster.html Nobody noticed? The chat was nothing but that for 15 minutes and there were at least 10 posts in the LR thread about it. It's already been addressed, Liquipedia had incomplete information on that player, he is fairly unknown in the EU scene and google brought up the wrong information. That said we'll be sure to doublecheck team affiliations before any future tournament.
I should have been clearer. I meant in this thread. You've probably heard the following paragraph before though. I didn't watch it live so no idea if the chat told you. Just saying it now since you mentioned trying to find him on Liquipedia and google.
Not sure if this was there when you checked Agh's page on liquipedia but on the right under background information there's his TLPD "International" link which shows his team, info, achievements, results, etc. Maybe consider searching for players you don't know on TLPD. They keep it really up-to-date. Updating Artosis within minutes of his announcement that he was joining sixjax. Non-koreans: http://www.teamliquid.net/tlpd/sc2-international/players Koreans: http://www.teamliquid.net/tlpd/sc2-korean/players
Probably telling you something you already knew.

What exactly are you pointing out? I'm sure I've missed something!
Well to me, the graphics of the screenshot or the vod looks way different than any graphics i've seen. It looks "dream" like graphics. When I look at other vods ( IGN Matches), it doesnt look anything like it.

Very nice little tournament veyr impressed by the production you just need better players. Hopefully next season we can see some better players!

Thanks for adding a few extra buttons to the VOD screen, much easier to navigate now (and more obvious ). Very enjoyable so far !

I'm sorry I just don't see it. Maybe I've just watched it too much!

Not to sound like a complete douche or anything, but what was the reasoning for pushing dates april 24th and the next date for more awesomeness is 4 days away? Was it just issues with scheduling or anything else?
I can't get enough of watching this tournament, it's amazing!

Some asshole spoiled the results for me on TL by making a thread about it a few days ago. I'm going to watch it anyways. The production of IGN league is incredible. I can't wait to see the finals!
Moletraps a beast btw.

The VOD's layout seems to have changed, but it still isn't loading completely before I can press play and watch everything at once.
Any news about that, Alex? :}

That's a limitation of the IGN video player, but we will have our games up on youtube hopefully early this coming week to be able to have options for people to watch!

Even better! I'll be able to download them while I sleep :}
But what happens if future seasons have paid content? You probably won´t upload on YouTube then =P

Our top goals right now are making sure our video player defaults to HD, our VODs are accessible on Youtube and making our VODs easier to navigate by identifying what round each VOD is from! Please continue giving us great feedback to make your user experience better!

Dude, whatever you do, I just want to thank you for providing an awesome experience. Its a no-brainer, that I will be paying whatever you folks charge in the future, considering your first experience out of the box.
Great, great production; and better players will be coming for sure. A+, baby. Well done!

I think TotalBiscuit is pretty good but I think he would be much better if he was paired with someone like DJ Wheat that can give a little more insight while TB still comments on the action like a play by play and color commentator duo like they do in real sports. I think its asking too much of one person to call an entire match alone.
besides that everything is great

for me the vod service has been perfect so far : )

If I was to be paired with anyone, it would be an analyst, not DJWheat who is a play-by-play caster.
I've specifically requested an analytical co-caster for season 2 as well as every major live event in the forseeable future, so that problem should be resolveable without too much effort.

sweet mother of god that looks so slick.. very very nice... i hope you guys can keep this production value up because it just looks amazing..

Free Vods = win for a tourneys success
theres SOOO MUCH SC2 that nobody has time to watch the matches live of everything, and if i cant see vods, ill just skip that tourney for something else that is free.
|
I find it funny that the all the vods on the site say game 1 even though they are the series holder. I really really like how easy you made it to be not spoilerly but removing that game one makes it look cleaner I think.
