so happy for desRow! I knew it was only a matter of time until he was ultimately able to make this move! Hopefully he will be making deep runs in GSL before he ever even considers moving back. Thanks to all involved in helping desRow make his way east!
Does anyone actually have the ability to read such a garbled wall of junk text with lack of any trace of grammar whatsoever?
I mean there's grammar naziing... and then there's when something is written so terribly it's literally painful to read.
Learn some respect, especially when English isn't even his first language...grow the hell up orb.
There's a difference between not knowing a language and putting in 0 effort.
i know english/ but i cdan write like this too then cause u trouble have undertstanding it cause i just spew words like textual diarrhea / but you cant say antyhing cause i get to use lacdk of english first langauge as my excsuse
He clearly applied 0 effort to making his post readable, so why should I show him any modicum of respect? I think it's pretty obvious he didn't read over his message or care at all whether or not it was going to be easily comprehensible.
What the hell? He wrote out how he felt about a subject, just as you have done, to be fair he is much more informed about the topic than you are, so who are you to disregarde his opinion just because it isn't made in the neatest format? I'm unsure why you feel the need to be disrespectful, anyone can read what Major has put, you just had the arrogance to highlight that you were unhappy with it, Major made a valid point about something he is knowledgable in and that should be enough for people to listen regardless of illegibility.
Yes you're right. Clearly there is no such thing as talent in this world
LOL
When I read that first line and saw how painful it would be to read I disregarded the rest of his post. How is that unreasonable? If you start off your "paragraph" with a point about how talent doesn't actually exist (which is probably one of the most unreasonable things he could have possibly argued here), I am going to assume that's the main point of the paragraph, such as a thesis. Otherwise I assume he would have started a new paragraph.
Unless you honestly agree that talent is nonexistent in SC2... in which case LOL
The amount of evidence to the contrary is so overwhelming it's absurd
What's most hilarious about this is that you completely missed his point... and it wasn't even that hard of a point to understand... what does that mean? I don't know, you figure it out.

You need to develop some social skills and stop being so mean to people. If you truly want them to improve, constructive criticism is the best policy. And you talk about painful to read? This is painful to listen to.

It's like if someone baked you a cake but they basically just threw some sugar, flour, and butter into a pan and threw it into the oven. You wouldn't finish your piece and eat the entire thing because they put in 0 effort. However, if they put in a ton of effort to make a good cake, you'll generally finish the piece and eat it all (even if it tastes terrible) to show respect because at least that person tried their hardest.
But yes, let's post a video of a game I played back in the first week of beta when no one knew how to play this game along with sound clips that were edited in from different points in time on my stream that have nothing to do with the actual plays going on. GOOD ONE BRO!

Edit: By the way, <3 you ventor.
There is a reason why this is a theory and not a law, because there is absolutely no way to prove it true. From my experience this is DEFINITELY not the case. I know people who are top in America who put in absolutely no practice/work and I also know people who play hours a day/analyze replays/etc and cant get into GM.
-If I practiced 12 hours a day, every day, I would still never be Michael Jordan. People have natural aptitudes for things, its sad but its true.

Yes, because being civil about an argument is pulling in a completely unrelated youtube video to try to incriminate one of the parties in the argument and make them look bad through slander. You really hit the nail on the head there.

Your experience huh? Glad to have your contribution here. And there is no conflicting law. Any law concerning talent from any scholar or philosopher is merely a theory.
Even then, you're missing one of the largest parts of the theory that neither did you google or wikipedia (or even fully read my post): Experience. Experience is what is claimed to define you. However, I am pretty sure that the people at the top of America have put in work. To say that is pretty damn ignorant. Please PM me if you want to continue the discussion on something you have absolutely no idea on. I would rather not clutter Desrow's celebration thread.
Turning on Desrow's stream for the first time.
-If I practiced 12 hours a day, every day, I would still never be Michael Jordan. People have natural aptitudes for things, its sad but its true.
Barring physical limitations, talent doesn't exist. There is absolutely no proof for talent. There is no gene or anything for it. It's an American concept to make people feel better about themselves. That is what is sad and true.
