i mean jeeze, if someone pays money to fly to the arena, pay for his hotel, then he probably is very confident in his abilities and why not have a open bracket for him to play in thank god MLG is still keeping their open bracket system for anaheim. MLG events with these open brackets are simply amazing theres nothing more entertaining than an open bracket EDIT: im seeing stephano, MC, and lastshadow as the 3 highest skilled players here. MC could win it if he somehow finds a way to bring his ZvP to god level. to win this MC would have to not only revolutionize his ZvP but he would have to find a way to shatter the entire matchup. But i dont see that happening so grats stephano on your win unless oh crap i forgot stephano sucks at ZvZ so its anyones game depending on if stephano gets knocked out by a zerg, lastshadow gets knocked out by MC, or if MC gets knocked out by a zerg.

You can't just have an open bracket "for the hell of it" not to mention, this isn't that big of an arena. its similar to the Iron Squid set up

MC doesn't need to revolutionize the match-up to win PvZ, just making f***ing motherships once in while instead of going for his 2 base all-ins. I doubt he will though.

Sure most may think his LS prediction is going to end terrible, but it shows not everyone is disappointed with LS getting an invite. I mean hell, it would be awesome if he was capable of pulling it off and advancing. Any player put in that group would be looked as an underdog.

This MLG is hardly an open bracket, with player entries sold out in the first 100 seconds (and majority reserved for one group or another) when it was open only for Gold members.

With the WCS NA finals there, MLG held spots for those players for the open bracket as well. That took up like a quarter of all the passes. And they held passes for the Kespa players in case they want to play in it. There will be passes that open up most likely. MLG Anaheim just sold out way quicker than any other event due to those passes being held and the hype surrounding MLG Anaheim. Its still an open bracket. And I would expect things to return to normal after Anaheim.

LS Is good, but not anywhere near the skill level of Code S contenders just yet. Why would you say MC would have to "revolutionize" PvZ? He's beaten Stephano quite a few times in various events, and even then, its not like Stephano is just unbeatable zerg...sure he's good, but even he drops maps in ZvP. Im going with Violet, Squirtle and Stephano top three. (Assuming Puzzle and squirtle are still in fact swapped) All in all, really excited for this one.
