Once there, go to the Competitions tab, and it will display the upcoming events, Providence, RI included which is the Championship.

There are MLG Anaheim spoilers ahead, although they are mostly nonspecific.
How many pool spots are available for the next MLG, considering how many Korean players did well at MLG Anaheim vs how many might not come back? Is there a deadline for players who would be seeded to announce their participation at Raleigh, and does being seeded into Pool play automatically go to the next highest seed who is coming?
At the following MLG event, after Raleigh, do points decay if you were inactive for Raleigh but decide to participate at MLG Orlando? It could create some interesting drama for a pool player who does well at Raleigh but could be bumped based on whether or not certain players decide to come to Orlando.
Edit: Well, after reading through the rules I found through the above post's link, I think I pieced together the information well enough. It seems to follow pretty basic logic of hierarchy (seeding). And there's definitely a deadline.
Except I'm still not sure if points decay, other than falling behind by nor participating. It still seems like Losira, for example (who was not at Anaheim), could sign up for a future event and go straight to pool play if there isn't a solid enough group of regular MLG players to earn more points than Losira. He earned 1000 points with his 2nd place Columbus finish, **warning MLG Anaheim Spoiler**+ Show Spoiler + and with so many Korean top finishers at Anaheim, who might not go to Raleigh or Orlando, if Losira goes, couldn't he bump someone like Tyler or iNcontroL (or TLO or Sheth), who are borderline as far as Pool Play.

Points don't "decay" throughout the same season. The points remain active on the players account throughout the season.

Wow, I can't wait for Raleigh. I can't believe it's already at the end of the month.

If anything MLG is recurring way too often when it should be a seasonal event at the most.
It's a like monthly event right now FFS, the hype/audience/interest is going to die (already dying comparing previous MLG views) so fast.
Edit: but hey what do I know I don't even watch MLG

I think people were a little upset they went and prebought tickets and people last minute were able to get such good discounts. I think it almost would have been a better move to not offer the promotion. To me, it just seems like you were giving a big "fuck off" to people who paid $25 ahead of time.
Don't get me wrong, I had a blast at MLG and was very impressed with how the staff handled things. One thing I'd like to point out though is I saw two separate instances of cheating (one I'm positive, the other I can only suspect). The first there was a guy on a cell phone chatting everything that was happening during the match to a guy that was playing in the open bracket, who, when I and a few other people also watching realized what was happening and gave him a look, he BOLTED. I can only presume the other player had a bluetooth, so it would be a good thing to check for before games start. The other was when a guy kept holding up (and I mean intentionally holding something up in vision) a blinking ball that he was intentionally changing the color of at certain times. He'd hold it up and it'd be flashing blue, and after a while, he'd eventually change it to red and hold it up again, which I can only presume was code for something. I originally told security and they said it wasn't their job to fix this matter, then I realized you had separate refs (DUH), and they took the matter extremely seriously and said they were gonna start checking for bluetooths before matches as someone else had already made a comment about it. Just in case you have diff refs for Raleigh, something to look out for!

What? This MLG had the most people watching the stream ever I thought? Maybe I'm wrong... but it was so much fun!

I know Anaheim has just ended, but please do not forget to purchase your passes for the MLG Raleigh event that is fast approaching. Do not wait to purchase your player passes, as they will likely sell out, so purchase yours soon!
