He made the Ro8 in bigfile MSL undtil he met Flash..
Of all the BW pros switching he had the best recent results by far, undtil the 2010-11 season where he slumped hard

This is so cool!
Be reborn, my progamer friends. Welcome in the new world that is SC2.

Wasn't this the guy who did the Hallu Arbitors or was that NaL-RA?

Timing attacks in Sc2? lol, you haven't seen anything yet. Nada? July? Boxer? Yeah, obviously the guy you replied to didn't follow much BW, including the first two bonjwa.
If he meant to say the best BW player switching to SC2 at the time of switching to SC2, he's probably correct.
Boxer and Nada seemed to stop caring about being good at BW by the time they switched to SC2 (in fact, years before that). It wore down on them. Same with July.
ForGG is still a strong BW player even now, which easily makes him one of the best BW players to switch to SC2 AT THE TIME of switching, as opposed to 5-10 years before switching (eg. Boxer, Nada).

He was in retirement for about a year. retirement? more like preparation for sc2 :D boxer, nada, july, forgg and yellow (only mentioning those who have won a MSL or OSL) No. Really no. After his MSL he was a decent terran but he was just a mid tier performer who was constantly overshadowed by Flash. If he was on any other team but KT I doubt he would have left but leaving Oz + being with Flash + underperformance right before his retirement probably made him retire.
It's hard to say what made him retire. Sure he had a bad run at the start of the proleague season but he was probably still much better than during his bad slump at Oz. I think it may even have been some sort of disagreement between him and the coaching starff.

Can't wait to see him in GSL. oGs needed this.

forGG is going to be either the best terran player or the second best terran player within a few months. People who cite his 58-69 record since 2009 aren't realizing something important - 58-69 record since 2009 means hes played 127 games since 2009 - thats a lot of games - you don't play a B teamer or a bad player 127 times.
|
I hope he does very well in GSL.

Just came by to say "OMG" and raise my post count by one.

Yes ! You shall all bow to the awesomeness that is the ForGG!

I'm new when it comes to SC:BW, but i'm greatly excited about a player like forGG of which i've actually heard quite a bit about. Also he is already awesome in my book, for having people play The Pretender when he walks on stage!!!!
In some way wish it was not another AMAZING terran that came to sc2 though, would've preferred some Toss or Zerg to wipe the floor with a lot of the current "meh" terrans who still seem to dominate.

Considering ForGG could beat MVP or Nestea even on an off day in BW, I'm excited to see how this will turn out.

lol what? ForGG one of the best BW players? I'd say average. 2010 Record

By the time that he joins GSL Code S, his TvT should be good enough that he will take the finals easily.

Awesome! I thought I saw something quite a while ago that he was playing under the ID Raptor in GM on the KR server, I guess this confirms it.

No, I didn't follow BW at all. I dunno, something about the 1999 graphics, the really boring play, and the korean yelling turned me off. I followed C&C instead, which was really a much more complicated game, if you think about it.

I know someone probably mentioned this before but...
ROFL the BW fangirls!!
