People who cite his 58-69 record since 2009 aren't realizing something important - 58-69 record since 2009 means hes played 127 games since 2009 - thats a lot of games - you don't play a B teamer or a bad player 127 times. Thanks for explaining this well so people can understand the impact. How many games has MVP played since 2009?

Timing attacks in Sc2? lol, you haven't seen anything yet. Nada? July? Boxer? Yeah, obviously the guy you replied to didn't follow much BW, including the first two bonjwa. If he meant to say the best BW player switching to SC2 at the time of switching to SC2, he's probably correct. Boxer and Nada seemed to stop caring about being good at BW by the time they switched to SC2 (in fact, years before that). It wore down on them. Same with July. ForGG is still a strong BW player even now, which easily makes him one of the best BW players to switch to SC2 AT THE TIME of switching, as opposed to 5-10 years before switching (eg. Boxer, Nada). lol what? ForGG one of the best BW players? I'd say average. 2010 Record
Average? Maybe average compared to the A teamers. But really, I'd bet you me left arm that half of BW players (the average skilled and up) would not beat him.

I'm wondering if he will stick to Terran

No, I didn't follow BW at all. I dunno, something about the 1999 graphics, the really boring play, and the korean yelling turned me off. I followed C&C instead, which was really a much more complicated game, if you think about it.
Let's see if that works... <grin> :>

Another BW pro switching. Another 20+ page thread of everyone assuming they will blow the doors off of SC2. It hasn't happened yet, but keep the dream alive!
(Seriously though, I am sure ForGG will do great...but dang the way people act like BW converts are just going to lay waste to the SC2 scene can be annoying, especially when it has yet to come to fruition. Albeit not with a pro that is as close to his prime as ForGG is. He is probably the first real test to see how well the logic holds up that BW pro = automatic SC2 baller. It will be interesting to watch either way, and I wish him the absolute best and much success).

I have high expectations of him. Some stats: - He's 4-1 vs a jaedong in his prime, - 4-6 vs Flash( not bad ), - 6-3 vs Bisu. No, these aren't recent games, but it shows that he definitely could compete with the very best of BW back then, unlike anyone that has switched over so far.
Also timing attacks are pretty strong in SC2
god if jaedong switches because of the hwaseung situation it would be so cool. He seems to be friendly with ogsgon too.

He was so sick in bw and will do well in sc2. He played Huk under the ID RaptoR I believe?

Was waiting for this to be announced! :D He's been owning up the Korean ladder for quite a while. Too bad he's a bit late and won't be coming to Blizzcon though, maybe as a guest? Someone fly this guy out to see the Foo Fighters!

...lol what?
Sorry, I guess we should call him "better than average" or slightly above average.

I'm happy for the hype but I'll wait for some results before I join the choir of ForGG.

Let's not comment on his Sc2 skills UNTIL HE ACTUALLY PLAYS. Does anyone know if he's on the KR ladder yet? Also, does oGs allow streaming, because it be really fun to see him do his ladder run to GM. (Spunky make that happen man!)

Seriously. People said the same crap when MVP or ZergBong switched, and what impact have they had?

more data to apply to the whole progamers coming to sc2 debate! I look forward to oGsFin's games

did huk claim forgg was playing sc2 before?

Whoa! I just came home and this is pretty big! I'm not all too familiar with his BW career, but isn't he basically the best BW player (not counting July Boxer Nada, who were past their peak when they switched) to switch over yet? MVP being the current one
